Just a few weeks to ago till this launches on the 22nd Feb. Anyone got a pre-order in? I went for the one without Horizon as I think I will get a few other games and wait for the price drop on that and pick after individually. Thinking of picking up Resident Evil Village which has an PSVR update and No Mans Sky for day 1?
Hope this is real step up as PSVR was a bit clunky with all the cables but a good introduction to VR console provision.

Yep, I'm another who ordered the PS VR2 without Horizon, (although it looks like an awesome showcase for the new headset/controllers) and I would like to try it out, having played a bit of the normal Horizon games I really didn't gel with anything about them and its just not something i'd currently want to spend £40-50 on, not when there are so many of the existing library of PS5 games or PSVR1 games I already own and enjoy that are getting updates and I'll be able to jump right back into, as well as several other new titles on day1.
Hopefully more compatibility updates for PSVR1 titles get announced along the way, and whilst i'd love a new Astrobot, I'd also happily play through the first game again in higher fidelity...its just that good!
I've specifically held off playing RE Village until it was available in VR so thats going to be my goto launch title, along with GT7 and possibly something chilled/fun like that Kayaking game.
Hopefully we get another set of PS VR demos like the original had or something like VR worlds again that may also showcase some of the new features. Loads of family a friends loved the underwater Shark cage as a first VR experience.
Great minds mate - it would be madness not for them do some demos that run straight away for the novelty standpoint. The shark dive was awesome! I am going to keep an eye on Horizon for a price drop. Will PSVR1 games work? I hadn't thought of that. I just realised I have some in my library!Hopefully more compatibility updates for PSVR1 titles get announced along the way, and whilst i'd love a new Astrobot, I'd also happily play through the first game again in higher fidelity...its just that good!

Having just checked my PSVR2 pre order, the confirmation still shows my old credit card which has now been replaced. I updated the details earlier this week, after receiving an email prompting me to do so by the 16th.
If I try to buy something on the PS store it shows my new credit card as default payment, however the PSVR preorder shows the old card.
Is this going to stuff things up when the order is processed. The live chat agent I tried speaking to didn’t seem to know.
Think you will be fine - I had similar the agents are crap aren't they! The order fulfilment will be managed using the card you updated. Any issues you can contact them if the payment fails (its tomorrow isn't it?) Only managed a an hour or so due to work and kids. Purchase of the year already for me! As everyone has said set up a doddle but this is truly mind-blowing and a huge leap from PSVR especially the new controllers. My jaw dropped on the opening of Horizon when that huge robot animal came walking by. The kayak game is a bit fiddly but shows the power of the headset in terms of real world graphics. GT7 I did one lap in Lamborghini and again totally blown away with the immersion. I noticed have felt less motion sickness on this v the original headset not sure if just me? Resident Evil Village starts tomorrow for me as I have never played it so going to be mad!
Finished the Horizon demo and it was a blast and really shows where Sony could take it if they build a game for the platform alone. GT7 still feels the best for me had a time trial lap in Formula 1 car last night and I was bobbing my head side to side with the feeling of the speed! Resident Evil I think I am going to really struggle with its so atmospheric and I am not very good with scary games.
I am likely going to send the VR2 back. Given where VR isn’t, I am glad that I didn’t buy a high end PC headset that I was contemplating for DCS.

What is the return policy? Got me thinking had a few days fun and I am missing just playing FIFA on my TV! Will it get to the point that this is just sitting around like my PSVR1!

Same here, 5 and 8. It's really hard to explain to them why they can't use it because the games they want to play don't work with it, plus I just don't want to see it broken or argued over. So I don't play on the headset at the weekends to save the arguments and making them feel bad!
LOL this is my story all over!It just feels too expensive to have lying around to use once in a while for me. I don't know how long it took for PSVR to drop in price to around 50% because I would pay £250 for this for an occasional gameplay. It is not worth more than the console itself right now personally because of my limited game time!
