Loved all the Black Isle games. Even enjoyed playing the console games coop with a mate. Be interesting to see what they have done with 3.

I loved BG and BG2. The Icewind Dale games were excellent too. I will certainly be playing this new game when it arrives.

I'd worry about a trailer that shows nothing of the game.
Just shows the 3d animators have been busy.
Would be funny if they have turned it into a 3rd person shooter.....

I've been playing Divinity: Original Sin 2 which is the developer's most recent game and it's excellent, highly recommended for anyone who wants to tide themselves over until BG3 arrives, no doubt a lot of the mechanics will be similar.

I have 1 but not played it yet is it worth skipping straight to 2 ?

I haven’t played 1 so can’t say ,2 is magnificent though ,sure it’s been voted the best of game or second best game ever in a few mags .Can be a bit overwhelming at first though but stick with it .
I’m currently playing wasteland 3 which is similar but not quite as good .

Nice one. I did look at wasteland 3 ( was it on GamePass ) but didnt fancy it. I'll have a go at one first then as its just sitting in my Steam Lib !

if you like rpg with turn based combat I can't see how you wouldn't like wasteland 3.I got it through game pass,which also has if you like turn based combat stuff ,gears of wars tactics is really good fun,no messing around with rpg just straight into the action pretty much.
My son put me onto divinity 2 and when i asked him about 1 he said don't bother ,so don't take 1 as any reflection on 2.

Love Gears Tactics.... I think I made the mistake of looking at Wasteland one and two and only gave 3 about 5 mins... Not really enough time on that type of game ! Trouble is I have that many games to play over so many years.... I'm guilty of Steam Sale buying ...
