DC'd in race two frown

What went wrong with the lounge settings for race two? why did we all have to power limit our cars? frown
Can anyone help me get my bloody new mic to work properly please?

Sorry about missing race 2 last night, not that it would have made any difference hehe

We had a yet another power cut.

Can't believe how fast some (most) of you guys are. How the hell do you times like that? I think I was only a few seconds from being lapped in race one frown
To be honest most people start of in your boat. We've been at this constantly since the launch of gt5 and we have all got quicker. Are you using a pad? Saying that a number of people after one season start to get in the pace. Also joe and goodwood are very very quick.

Blade - not sure why, I think my lack of power was forgetting to oil change but it was a fairly level playing field. Those with more horses would have had a touch more torques.

As for mic. Check all the sound and accessory settings in xmb and then check them in gt6.

I think the mic thing was just a room issue. When you joined the room I was in before, I though I heard some noise from your mic, and my mic was working. In the race room my mic was on but nobody could hear me... who knows.

cheers guys.

It all works fine in the PSN menu bit where you can set the mic sensitivity level, I had it up on "5" and it was showing as picking my voice up nice and strong at that setting.....plus I have blue dots showing for both input and output.

but as soon as I try it in GT6 I get the sound of everyone talking through my earpiece but my mic part is dead.
tried it with new and old headset both have been deleted and re-paired then stored...both give the same outcome!

very frustrating.

After looking at the table I realised I was 5th both races. I didn't see Norbs in either race so I gave myself a 30kg ballast for no reason frown

Are you all using steering wheels and do they make a difference?

I've only got a pad, which is knackered anyway as the springs have gone in the sticks, so they dont self centre any more. Maybe I should invest in a new one, on the basis that its got to be worth at least half a second a lap hehe

I did see you ask but I thought you'd heard me.

Frank. I do. There are quite a few pad users, ferry, Norbs, Ian and flip def do.

I have t used a pad in years. Norbs has just bought a wheel but he's a) not up to speed and b) can't drive so I guess he'll never be! hehe

FYI I'm going back to black.

As far as I know this weeks combo is stock on sports meds. I've sent armchair a message so hopefully he'll post soon.

GW and Joe were crazy fast in the M3, a totally different league. Glad I didn't damage you in race 1 Mr O, I was worried that I had ploughed you off without being able to see you! It did mean I had a very boring race though.

Race 2 was mental from start to finish, an absolute belter.

Get a vid. up Norbs.

I'd like to see what happened with my monster glitches during race 1.

I had a great first race along with Joe, very clean despite being bumper-to-bumper the whole race.

Then in race two I got damage on lap one so that along with max ballast meant it was a boring race without much action.

It was an enjoyable combo despite the massive lag and invisible people throughout the evening though.

I has the girlfriend over yesterday so didn't have my mike on and had it turned down quite low. At least I now don't need to have any ballast for the next race thumbup

I got some damage on the first lap of race 1 but I doubt it was you since I couldn't see you. I decided to stick with it since I wasn't keeping too bad pace

It looked like Norbs had punted you wide and you came back on track and made contact with me and we both ended up with damage. All Norb's fault.
