The official update adding DLSS is now live - https://steamcommunity.com/app/1716740/eventcommen...
The more I play this the more I get sucked in.
I’m not even doing missions, just bouncing from planet to planet and exploring stuff!
Managed to acquire a Spacer ship the other day. It will be used as the base for a bigger build once I’ve saved up some cash.
Top tip, when something on a planet is called “derelict” or “abandoned” they aren’t

Just downloaded it last night - 17Gb on the Xbox for PC version.I'm not quite sure I can see a difference at 4k on a 4070ti.
My mate's on L50+ and hasn't hardly started constellation missions as he has the Into The Unknown bug - doesn't look like they fixed that.
My Crimson fleet mission is borked - Cant progress that, doesn't look like they fixed that either. Sad times. At least i can do everything else, my friend still has no powers!

Yeah I’ve not had another since.
When you say the Crimson fleet quest is broken? Mine kinda is, now have a 750k bounty with them and arrive at the Key and it’s attack on sight, even in mission mode.
Mines a glitch - I have to go to the ship services woman and her friend for the quest but there’s no dialogue to move the quest on. When you say the Crimson fleet quest is broken? Mine kinda is, now have a 750k bounty with them and arrive at the Key and it’s attack on sight, even in mission mode.
My friend said that the only people who claim the bounty on the key are the ones in the corridor before you go in but haven’t tested that myself as I somehow have no bounty - since starting that quest line I’ve tried to refrain from attacking them

Just a little thing, but I haven't seen it mentioned.
Low gravity planets, and I mean really low. Why does gravity then work inside POIs such as mines (anything behind a loading screen I think?)
Lol yes, although not always. Also how come there's artificial gravity on stationary ships and space stations, yet that amazing tech is never mentioned. Low gravity planets, and I mean really low. Why does gravity then work inside POIs such as mines (anything behind a loading screen I think?)

That's a function of the gravity drive and/or engines. If you destroy a ship's gravity drive (again, and/or engines), then board it, it's quire often zero-g inside.Tried the DLSS update yesterday, without changing any other settings I went from 60-50fps to 120-90fps, so that's huge in my book. Didn't do a lot other than explore a few planets and outposts but seemed stable enough to me on PC. Then again, I've only had one major bug so far and that's the game telling me to go and meet a character that's already been killed off for a mission
I built some more ships.
Firstly ChubTug, which I now realise sounds a bit rude, but was mean to refer to its being a bit chubby and looking like a tugboat. All the stuff I need, nothing I don't.
And then the CargoSter, which was an experiment into how much cargo capacity you can have while still having maximum jump range. One Class A engine, so it handles like a particularly lethargic brick.
