Has the offline game content been added yet? I haven't actually looked.

It appears the FF cars are faster than ever.
No offline content added until December. However you can now play the game offline but it won’t save.

At that rate I would say so, I usually set to 4x fuel and tyre wear and need at least one pit stop

yeh, just done it... you start with 5 laps worth of fuel... I managed to stretch it to 6 laps and jumped the guy in front of me! (until I went wide on last lap!) - enjoyed it though, should do it with all 10 lap races...

I always set up tyre wear/fuel depletion when I have a lobby, as it makes it a lot more interesting, particularly on the longer races, not knowing whether to run lean, or just to go for it and have to spend more time in the pits. Agree they should do it more on the Daily races though - I did notice that they put fuel/tyre wear on some of them, but usually at 1x so you don't need to think about it

I used the M6 on the daily, knocked the power down one notch and got 7.5 laps out of it. Didn’t change tyres, so had a really quick stop for 2.5 laps worth of fuel in!
I started 12 or so and finished 5th

I've just finished the last of the Career stuff, so all the licenses, all the tracks and all the challenges all with gold. I really enjoyed doing it.

I've won on pretty much all of the tracks on the hardest setting in Arcade.

So I guess now the logical step is for the online racing - but the comments on here are really off putting!

If you're reasonably quick you can avoid most of the carnage… I can count the number of time I’ve been punted on the fingers of one hand in 35 races to date.

I tend to focus on grp3 events as the cars are harder to drive, which whittles out most of the pad drivers and the worst of the wheel drivers. But I do race grp4 from time to time.

Avoid Toyko at all costs – it’s hard enough to avoid wall contact when you’re racing on your own there, never mind with a load of numpties.

Pick an event you feel comfortable with. Go to the qualifying screen and see what cars are being used by the fastest guys. There are usually 2 or 3 cars that are competitive for a given event. I tend to stick with the RSR as I’m comfortable with it and it’s usually competitive. But you need to pick one you feel comfortable with.

Then, MOST IMPORTANTLY, put a proper effort in to qualifying!

2 reasons for this – 1) the higher you qualify, the more chance you have of avoiding trouble, & 2) the more laps you put in to qualifying the more comfortable you’ll feel in the car and more consistent your lap times will be… key is to avoid making unnecessary mistakes yourself during a race… sometimes you can’t avoid getting hit, but you can always avoid going off track by yourself.

I’m about half way to DRS, and have been SRS since my 5th on line race… I would typically put at around an hour in to qualifying… with the aim of getting within 1s or so of the top regional time, and being able to get within 0.5s of this every lap. You need to work out where you need to be to get towards the front of the grid (ideally, top 4).

In the race, you have to be aware of where people are around you at all times (be aware that cars in the rear view mirror are much closer than they appear!), and what their driving standards are like… I avoid trying to make passes unless I'm sure the person in front isn’t going to turn in on me. This makes the longer races more enjoyable as you have time to assess the person you’re racing against that you just don’t get in a 4 lapper.

If someone tries a silly pass don't turn in on them... give them room… most likely they will crash, or they will crash a corner or 2 later.

Moving through the lower DR & SR levels for quicker drivers is relatively simple... you can get to DRB/SRS in about 5 races. Driving standards do improve at SRS and DRA, but there are still a few idiots.

Underneath where you choose the tyres to change there is an option to not change them

Has anybody had any success/pointers to searching livery with the pheads tag. It doesn't find anything, not even my own creations, but searching other tags like Evo, STI, WRX etc seems to work fine, mine or others.

I can see that on the normal web page, but If like it, add to collection or click the pheads tag, all I get is the loading spinner.

Which is what I see for most things on the website, site too overloaded I guess.

I look forward to seeing how this opinion evolves when you're more equally matched with those around you. After 300+ races I can tell you for sure that you're going to get punted off at DR A/B SR S level. I'd say 25% of championship races are effectively ended that way. Qualifying is massively affected by other cars when you have maybe four laps to get your time, finding space for a clear lap is not easy. I'd say >50% qualifying laps are compromised.

DRS is a significant achievement, some of the best guys in Europe aren't DRS.

I'm st but i've found the more laps the cleaner the race will be.

The rammers won't hang around for 10 laps they want lot's of 2-3 lap races so they can smash you off then hopefully clear off for the next 2 laps , even us slow fks at the back have had some good 10 lap battles wobbling around .
