Yeah, got 5 days out there, leaving the kids with grandparents - not been since Xmas after 9/11 so guess it's probably changed a bit since then - might have to pick your brains when you're back on some good places to eat/drink etc (if you've had the chance to get out of course, sounds like it's been pretty full on)

Nice one. Been out and about most days while the wife is resting, found some great little places to recommend. Mostly upper east side/Lennox hill where we are though. Done all the tourist stuff too. Some of it great, some a waste of time and money. Really surprised how expensive everything is though.

I'm sorry I missed that. Was feeling a bit ill anyway but because it was on an hour later I thought I'd give it a miss. Little did I realise I'd have a bizarre out of body experience instead. Think it's to do with the wild mushrooms I'd eaten.

Ah right, I'd hope you wouldn't get served magic mushrooms in a restaurant but it's easy enough to make some nasty mistakes when picking wild mushrooms .
