How do you know it is not being shown? I looked at the schedule for E3 yesterday, and there are still 4 or 5 "secret games" to be shown today and tomorrow
Rockstar have never attended E3 themselves and it wasn't shown at any of the "big three" company's press events. You could be right though. Time will tell!Give it a few more weeks of frantic Max Payne 3 PR and GTAV stuff will follow.

I had to wait for a long time before I could convince the parents to let me have a GTA game. Thankfully I had friends with parents who were less strict so I could always lend them.
I remember lending GTA III and not having a memory card (christ, remembering that PS2 memory cards were about 28 quid back in the day is mind blowing) so trying almost every day, spending all my time to complete it rather than going outside at weekends or when I wasn't in school.
When I finally did get a memory card it was all so much more simple. I remember being proud of fitting all six gang cars in the garage on Staunton, always was a collector.
Vice CIty is obviously amazing thanks to the setting and the music but I do enjoy San Andreas the most. Can't beat spending hours pissing around in the countryside whether it's the forests or the deserts. Missions like swimming onto the aircraft carrier to nick the Hydra or going into Area 69 to get the jetpack live long in the memory.
GTA4 never did it for me, never been more disappointed in something in my life really. It's just not a lot of fun, the characters are crap, the city is dull and the controls are terrible.
Still looking forward to GTA5 though.

Oh god what have I done reading this thread! I want to play again. Played all the GTA's the first one was amazing, GTA3/VC were superb, SA was fantastic the scale was immense, the one after that I never got on with, too dull and dark that stupid Nico person you play is annoying.
I didn't even realise there was a new one planned

I liked GTA4, especially the add-ons that came later. As a stand-alone game it's pretty stunning.
As a GTA game though, it was a bit of a backwards step I felt. SA was so VAST and detailed, you could keep playing forever after the mission ended. Gambling, flying about in jets, skydiving, huge cross-country rides on the MX bike. In GTA 4 it's a case of endless drug wars and well, shoot-outs with the cops.

Quick question.
When you buy/download the add on missions like the ballad of gay Tony for GTA 4 is their an option to play just them ones? Or do you just load the game as normal and your phone rings etc?
Not sure about the downloaded versions, but the disc/ps3 versions are completely stand-alone. When you buy/download the add on missions like the ballad of gay Tony for GTA 4 is their an option to play just them ones? Or do you just load the game as normal and your phone rings etc?

I seriously hope GTA V is a beefed up version of San Andreas.
My guilty pleasure in GTA IV is getting a cop car/ambulance/fire engine and racing to a random location across the city with the sirens on without smashing anything up.
I say good Sir, you are doing this all wrong.. My guilty pleasure in GTA IV is getting a cop car/ambulance/fire engine and racing to a random location across the city with the sirens on without smashing anything up.
