What version is the server running?

As has been said if you spin it your rears will be hot so you have to take the next lap slower.

As for setups, I'm just using the shortest final drive and soft rubber, however I'm not sure they'll last 20mins yet

They will last, i did a 20min test session a few nights ago and they were ok until the end. Maybe need to be a little cautious on the last 2 or 3 laps though.

Go to the Join link in rFactor and find the "Pistonheads Gallardo" server in the long list that appears. "load game" will appear in the bottom corner, click it, enter our password and hey presto.

You've got the password now havnt you? PM me if you havnt.

Ok found the server... tried connecting and wouldnt let me. Now i cant find the server.

rFactor is well known for it's connection problems. Give it 5 minutes, reboot and try again.

I think it was originally used with GTR as some people were trying to win the race at the first corner, damaging their cars, pitting being lapped and quitting after 2 laps. So it's just a continuation of that.

I'm all for keeping invulnerability on, these cars are fragile. Plus I don't want to be taken out by someone else.

If you can't drive properly, you're going to lose a lot of time spinning off anyway. Like me.

Yes I think invulnerability should be kept on too. It's supposed to be fun at the end of the day, and if you bin it in T1 and knock your wing off, it's going to be a pretty frustrating race

Well as Adam and R1 found out last night... thats me! Need some serious time with this, might have to alter the throttle sensitivity, either that or ebay my heavy right foot as an exchange for a lighter one .
