As i said before i don't think Andy or myself are going to run another full season again for the reasons mentioned but i have a couple of ideas for the next couple of weeks as one off TT's so as of midnight tonight the challenge for the following week is.....

Class - R3
Track - Sedona Raceway......Sedona DRAG 1/4 mile......

Chosen R3 class as there are a few cars you can max out to the R3 limit so plenty of choice for unusual choice of cars..(Datsun 510 anyone??!!)

So who fancies something a wee bit different this week??

Should be fun?

Does this not mean everyone will zoom about in 1000bhp 4wd Vipers?

Again our not so soggy Dubai dweller has set a blistering lap with Dimski snapping ever so close at his heels

I think the fact that Asterix has still only set the 115th time overall on this circuit just goes to prove how hard it is and how much time and effort is needed to nail it, watching the replay of the top time (05:36:226) makes me feel ill, outstanding!

I'm really pleased how this whole thing has gone and how much extra its got out of the game for me. Frustrating at times but great fun too.

This weeks challenge is a bit of fun set by Nessie to give the thumbs a rest for all of us controller drivers !!

1st Place unsurprisingly goes to Asterix for his consistantly quick times, dedication and commitment to the challenge unsurpassed.

2nd Place to the plucky Pulsatingstar , like an annoying terrier he's been snapping at the heels of victory every round.

3rd Place to Dimski otherwise known as 0o0o0o00o or something! This week he showed his true colours with an outstanding lap but again couldn't quite reign in Asterix.

Special mention this week goes to PirateTaco, only the 3rd of out clan to break the six minute barrier. Great effort.

Woohoo, happy with my placing there for the 'ring and overall. Had a run on the drag strip lastnight and its a nice change to have something done in under 10 seconds, instead of going round for 6 minutes

Happy I secured 3rd place!

A little disappointed I didn't manage at least one win, but set some decent times, and managed 6 or so 2nd places.

Really enjoyed this TT.

There are 5 people tied to the top of the leaderboard overall at 8.575 all in the Datsun with manual gearbox and clutch and TC on.

I think you've pretty much got it nailed this week

Interesting that their Performance Index is 773 as is yours, wheras mine is 794 - I wonder if mine is just that bit too powerful to get cleanly away from the start???

Its a game, you use the best combination of settings to get the lowest time.
If it was meant to be exactly as real life no one would be able to set any of the previous times in the time trial competition.
What people have to stop worrying about is, how you do in a video game bears no reflection on your real life driving skills.

Again thanks to the lads for sorting the series out - it was good fun and very close.

To have a number of PHers getting into the top 20 (and higher) on some tracks is very impressive - I was pushed extremely hard all the way through and often beaten by some very, very good driving.

My wife would also like to thank the lads for making sure that it was only restricted to 11 races... Little does she know, I got MW2 last week

Threw 4 runs up the strip last night and have a 9.109 (or something like this) to at least get a time in - hopefully can improve on it over the next 2 days
