Nice share!
I remember playing this game too - It felt way ahead of it's time.
For me the Z8 was the car I spent the most time in!
On the subject of NFS
Anyone else play NFS : Porsche Unleashed?

I remember it vaugely, I think it had some interesting missions like deliver the new car without crashing etc.
Brilliant game. Had forgotten about it until you mentioned it. One of those games that was under appreciated.I remember playing this game too - It felt way ahead of it's time.

Yes, but having played it recently, it’s st. Gran Turismo 4- BMW M3 GTR racer. Handles like a dream. Shoots flame. Makes one feel like Jorg Muller driving it.
Forza Motorsport 2/3- Ferrari 550 GTS. Love the car in real life. Sounds so good. Pretty disappointed it disappeared from the Forza roster after 3 due to licensing issues.
Forza Motorsport 4 - Panoz LMP1. Wish more games had this car.

Showing my age here... The March Cosworth in Indianapolis 500 in the Amiga. Spent hours adjusting camber, stagger, aero, gear ratios and spring rates to shave thousands off a qualifying lap. Had to play with a mouse and keyboard to get some sort of analogue steering
The frustration of hitting the wall on lap 200 after hours of zen like focus on basic vector graphics is something modern gamers could never imagine.

Outrun is a grail cab for me, but I agree, it doesn’t play too well these days, not many oldies do.
Did 2 hours of bubble bobble recently with the boy. It’s still brilliant. Driving games appear to date very fast.
I completed it with my Mum 34 years ago!

Excellent find.
I played NFS2 back on my PS1, was it hot pursuit or was that need for speed 3? Seem to recall NFS3 had the 'elnino' car that you were awarded after completing it..
It was different on PS1 I think - I completed NFS3 many years ago on Playstation then bought it on PC. It’s a totally different beast - I still play it a lot to this day - beating my lap records I’ve kept for 15 years is still pretty satisfying! It also looks far better and runs silky smooth using Glide.I played NFS2 back on my PS1, was it hot pursuit or was that need for speed 3? In the PC version, El Nino is a understeering, heavy mess. The MB CLK GTR is totally dominant, and basically makes any other car pointless. Good fun trying beat the AI driving those while in a Diablo or similar!
So, I think the CLK GTR wins it for me. Honourable mention for the Escudo Pikes Peak in GT2 (the earlier twin engined Cultus was nowhere near it), the ‘89 R32 GT-R in GT2 (was lighter, and out-handled any later model when modded) and the Impreza in Colin McRae Rally (though I was rather a fan of the Felicia after driving it many times in the sim set up at the 98 Motor Show at the NEC. Oh, the queue for that one!)

I'd forgotten about that game! I played it an awful lot on the PC (I'm assuming it's a port of the same game). I remember the graphics, gameplay, replay options, crash sequences all being absolutely state of the art at the time. The frustration of hitting the wall on lap 200 after hours of zen like focus on basic vector graphics is something modern gamers could never imagine.
For a game with only one track, it was very involving and long lived.
