is a steering wheel and pedals a requirement or can I blag it like I did on my PS2!?
Controller is fine.
The ability to ‘tilt’ the controller as a steering wheel works really well for GT Sport on the PS5. Took a bit of getting used to, but works infinitely better than using the buttons or stick.

It’s all down to personal choice, I had a wheel but couldn’t get any faster than with sticks on the controller.
It always felt I was having to try much harder with the wheel to get as quick, so I sold it and stuck with what I preferred.
Part of me wants to try a wheel again, but it’s not a priority.
I am definitely looking forward to those countless hours of tiny setting tweaks and carefully considered modification days of GT1.
I remember having an Impreza of some sort that I used for tons of races, it should really have been out classed!
I see a new hint has been mentioned regarding AI, so hopefully the generated competition will be a little less predictable.

Agreed. I used to start a new game and struggle to win the first couple of races needed to afford a decent upgrade, once I did though (or achieve 3 2nd place finishes), that upgrade would give me an advantage over the other cars and allow me to start earning properly. It felt like a struggle but was so rewarding. Now, on Forza, I load up the game and I'm being thrown 5 different cars and a reel prize spin because of my achievements on their previous games.
hmmm as it's put like that yeah I can get on board with it. My only good experience with Forza was FH2 - now GT just need to get rid of those stupid PP which Forza also has and it'll be back to full greatness biggrin

Maybe it’s just for the nostalgia value…

Still have the original's of all of my GT's except any handheld versions and GT6. Red and Blue for GT2 depending on Gran Turismo mode or Arcade move smile

Didn't realise this was coming out so soon! This may tempt me to get a next gen console. My Xbox One hasn't been used in probably 12 months, just been on PC.

Knew it was coming but assumed there would be delays and delays hehe

Ordered it today. Will probably the only game I buy this year. Could've got it on the store but wanted a physical copy so went with Amazon, only because they guarantee day of release delivery. Others used to even be early but they don't guarantee it now.

Last time I preordered from Amazon it shipped on day of release, then arrived at 9pm the next day.

There's an Amazon warehouse 15min from my house so hoping they stock some locally like they did with PS5. I often order and get same day proving it's in the local one. Since it's a Friday, on Saturday would be OK, as long as it's not Monday

I too am 15min from a large depot. God knows what happened but I won’t be making that mistake again.

I have the disk version of the PS5. The question is, should I buy the physical copy of the game, or the digital download?

I can’t be doing with shelves of game boxes any more, so everything is digital for me.

I always game share with my brother then go halves on the games (usually taking it in turns to buy major games), so it'll be digital for me.
