I don't mind the new map but the mechanisms for looting, carrying stuff etc and having to find a satchel to have 3 plates in seems daft. I had a really weird one, first game I tried quads and ended up in a squad on my own, thought this isn't gonna end well... Only won the bloody game on my own.
After that I had a few more difficult games so maybe I was in a lobby full of complete idiots the first time, but overall the map is ok, I think the guns may be slightly easier to use, but I prefer all the old interfaces.
I can't put my finger on it but does anyone think it feels a bit more arcadey than the old warzone?

Mainly play multiplayer - free for all, team deatchmatch and kill confirm.
Hard to get used to the game when you don't know the maps, but once the gun upgrades a bit and you get used to the maps then it becomes quite enjoyable.
I don't really understand the upgrade dynamics on the guns so just use the M4 all the time!
Maps are decent, other than... the F1 race track map which I hate.

Observations after 2 days
I prefer the new map
I feel like the guns are maybe easier to use
The TTK is too fast especially in multiplayer
I don't understand the gun progression
The user interface, ping system, method of inviting friends to games etc is all crap. Not a patch on the old game.

Must admit after the couple of games I had the other week I haven’t bothered to turn it back on as I felt the same.
I only do HC TDM though and the last version was great. Many an hour wasted.

I'm sure it's just a case of getting used to the timing. I'm more into Warzone tbh. The sounds, or lack of in Warzone are a bit odd I feel. Seems very quiet. Then blam you're dead!

What’s all the backpack stuff about, I don’t get it, seems to be way too much time spent on a box making you choose what to take?!
Also is there a setting to single tap open boxes as that seems to take way too long.

king clue what's happening or what I'm doing. Not enjoying warzone at all, but glad that HC has arrived saves emptying a clip for a kill.
Biggest issue is the maps are too camping friendly as opposed to skillful sniping. And spawn kills, I was in a game the other day on the Camp 18 when we all kept spawning in the bales section and no matter what side we tried to exit we got mowed down with heavy auto fire.

Some odd stuff going on for me on Series X, paid for Battlepass and then getting tokens by playing games, but my token count has been showing as zero so couldn’t use them and then tonight suddenly my XP after a match was something like 900000 and all my tokens appeared at once. 
Cold War was a buggy pile of turd and this is continuing the tradition.

Token bug is well known across all the platforms, if showing max tokens it's worth shutting down the game and restarting the console, it's works on PS not sure if same on XboxCold War was a buggy pile of turd and this is continuing the tradition.

I like the new warzone map but I've gone from being OK at the game to awful. I'm not enjoying the gameplay so back on multiplayer.
Here's the problem. Core is awful. 6 shots and no kill, they turn and shoot you once and you're dead. The replay shows they get 4 or 5 shots on you. it's happening every night. I always play hardcore, but the game mode is a cesspool of camping. It's the campiest COD for years. The pace is so slow, the maps are large and it's full of back of the map floor huggers. It's actually designed to favour camping over run and gun.

No matter where I spawned, I was in one of their sights. I hate that you can't see if you've got a kill, who it was or if you're team killed, who did it.
It's just broken and not finished. I was on with mates last night and we're going back to Vanguard until they fix it.
