I play on Nagrand and Azuremist. I only play 1 raider, I just don't know how these people with 2 or 3 characters manage! Just levelling them would send me nuts.

Why? It is a tired repetative game that is constantly being dumbed down for the casual club. It was fun before the expansions came in since there was some organisation and skill needed for the top end stuff.

Yes I am elitist.

I'm a fully paid up member of the casual club.

Unfortunately I can't devote every waking minute of my life playing games.

Don't know if it is tired or too easy. Blizzard play with the game mechanics all the time in order to tweak the difficulty level/character balance.

A pretty regular stream of new content is stopping things getting stale and you do need skill to play in the high level instances - ask any group that's had the misfortune to have a nab eBay account buyer who thinks that because they paid £200 for a lvl 80 hunter they can run HCs.

Daily Quests can make it feel repetitive but you can opt not to do them and run off and pursue the various loremaster acheivements which will keep you busy on q chains that you didn't do on the leveling route.

I'm definitely in the Casual Corner, I reckon I've /played about 14 days altogether since Christmas (across all my characters), which is an average of about an hour and a half every day, though I don't play every day. Idid get a bit carried away at the start, but I use the Parental controls to stop myself from turning into a zombie.

I used to be hardcore... back when the level cap was 60. I had pretty much full T2 healing gear and most of the best tanking gear. I was the first Druid to tank BWL on our server and would tank all the main instances when required. I broke the mold when people were still convinced Druids couldn't tank anything biggrin

I used to play probably 7-8 hours a night and the only nights I wouldn't play would be Friday (out on the piss) and Saturday (working).

Don't think this is the case. Yes raiding is more accessible now but try and attempt the hard modes for bosses and the difficulty is still there.

Downed Yoggy 25 man last night and got myself a new dagger so happy day today.

Gratz on that - that's a big achievement.

We're up to Versax (10-man guild) and have been having fun with some of the hardmodes (FL+2 was fun).

I find the 'l2p raiding n00b' attitude kinda funny. Bliz made a big mistake with SWP and admitted so. From a business modeal excluding >90% of your subscription base from content that takes significant effort to produce is pure fail.

If you're on vista try running it as admin.

I'm tempted to have a dabble again... anyone got a guild somewhere i could join?
If you create a char on Nordrassil (or for anyone else either) my guild (social + raiding) is open to anyone 16+ smilewww.prideofstgeorge.com or search for any chars with 'ulv' in the name in the guild and it'll be me smile

I run through all the TBC CDs.

Then i go into game, it downloads a little update then seems to want to install TBC... but then gives me an error about reading from an install location

I don't play anymore because I don't have the time and I don't like doing anything half hearted. I also just got fed up with the unending drama llama that always goes on since everyone thinks they are a special snowflake.

Isn't that a problem with people rather than the game ? smile

True but then if you have to interact with such people and they make the game unfun I am still not going to play it just because the game itself is good.

It is like saying Swimming is fun but dodging between all the floating turds puts me off that certain pool.
