Aye, sometimes I look at the price of new controllers and get all ranty about how cheap they used to be. Then I remember how simple they used to be laugh

When you play Astros Playroom on ps5 and there's bits you have to blow into the front and it's the same section that has a, speaker so you hear sounds up close, and the weighted triggers, it is quite something.

Sony do seem to enjoy playing around with their controllers. I like the speaker and touchpad on the PS4 controller, even if it does kill the battery. Not had a shot of a PS5 yet but I've heard the haptic feedback on the triggers is remarkable.

It was the turbo for me, with the red base and that switch that did absolutely nothing.

You were doing it wrong. Just had to turn it upside down and then shake it from side to side instead. Was faster too!

When used correctly yes. You have games where different weapons have different pressures on the trigger for example, which I thought was quite awesome.....

Got a new M2 Nvme SSD to swap my OS onto and put bigger games on to replace 2 2.5" SSD in the pc.

I also sourced a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU for £120. I've read that starfield ims likely to be CPU intensive and I think My old 2600x is gonna start to show it's limitations.

Gor Game Pass PC back on for £1 for a fortnight. Will start preloading after I've upgraded.

Anyone with Gamepass gone for the Premium Edition Upgrade at £31.49 ? Not massively bothered about the release date bump as I wont be able to play till the 3rd Sep anyway but fancy the soundtrack and the digital artwork and of course the first expansion !

Damn ! Too late ! I was just looking at the upgrade on Gamepass and my Daughter shouted me ! When I turned back to the screen I hade clicked on purchase !!!

Oh well.....

My mboard is 12 years old and my CPU 10 years... done sterling work until now! But first Cyberpunk, then RDR 2, and now Starfield, are demanding more than it can give. I stuck in a RTX 3060 Ti today for a temporary boost, of course it's throttled now but it'll be carried over to the new components once Starfield reviews are clear.
