Found a dungeon one block below ground level, so i did what anyone else would do in this situation. Make a skeleton viewing area!

its a nice addition to my underwater base on the other side of the island.

I use Sony Vegas so am not sure what Premiere is like. I render it into an MP4 file - 15 mins is about 1GB. I have taken a screenshot of my settings and stuck it below for you. I do this for all videos I capture both on PistonGaming and my own channel.

working on an underwater base at the moment,

looking down on it.

One of the entrance shafts.

All the rooms are pretty much empty like this at the moment.

The water lift in this room leads to...

an underground temple like room a couple of blocks above the bottom of the world.

next on the list to build is a tunnel to my skeleton viewing room.

You should see how i store things inside it. It goes in rows with them all being 64, if there's less than 64 then it goes at the end.

For tools i have a full row of spades/hoes/pickaxes/axes/swords and then i've got some arrows.

Wood has every wood item in it's own row, so ladders, sticks, logs and planks smile It makes life so much easier.

You're uploading 1GB to youtube for each 15 minutes? yikes

Yuhs I upload overnight when I sleep. Fraps captures at about 8GB for 15 minutes. The joy of a 8TB file server at home hehe

I'll have to see if i can downscale that Motha' standard Def TV runs at about 10mb/min, so 100mb/min for 720p is mental!

Just capture, Render, Upload and delete it all. You wont need anymore than 20GB space. I used about 800GB for the MW2 Montage and all the Raw clips associated with that!

I'm giving up on minecraft hehe

I want to make a railway system, it's finding the resources/time for me, I also end up getting sidetracked easily on it and killing sheep.

I'm sure I saw somewhere today that hitting enter marks a new spawn point (and R makes you respawn). Not sure if that Enter is on the numeric keypad though, as i don't have one (Logitech laptop-type keyboard).

Anyone want to try?

1GB for 15 mins! yikes

10MB/Min is usually the rule of thumb for digital TV caps, so 15MB should be plenty for this.

I gather from X's adventures that the ENTER key thing only works for the early versions, and not the Alpha. I love that tramway!

Storage isn't an issue, I've got 40tb of raid1 arrays. The problem is upload times. I'll just have go deal with o presume.

Also when you're harvesting cactus, stand further back. You're standing way too close. I've never been hurt by mine and as you can see I've got plenty growing. Stop jumping to collect it as well, just knock the top then the middle and then walk around it bit not up to it and you'll collect them, it's like you're a magnet and anything within about half a square will be picked
Also, I've just started watching your YouTube videos on my 42" Sony Bravia as it has built in YouTube/five OD/ itv player etc. hehe pictures to follow smile

Works on Classic, not Alpha (It was discussed on one of X's youtube videos)
