It’s happened to everyone I think. fk this nonsence game and how it updates. It’s insane.

Why do they get to choose to wipe data on our machines?

Hundreds of gigs having to redownload is just not acceptable.

That was awkward. Everyone dropped me the money, I dived on with our newly scrounged £10k for a cheeky loud out... done my click up once, buy fast and chuck the loud out... turns out they now have an rcxd at the end of the list... so the team of randoms start name calling so I had to turn full prick, and bought a self revive with the change and ran away... my bad.

Lots of people, including me, are having major issues with the update. The main update installs fine. The game loads but won't let you start the campaign, multiplayer or co-op without installing add on packs. One of the packs gets about 2GB in then resets back to zero. I started updating at 2pm yesterday and turned the PS off at midnight. A bit of Googling suggests I need to start the PS in safe mode and rebuild the PS database.

Everytime I want to start it now it has to copy 27GB odd of data before starting. Not very convienient having to launch it 30 mins before playing.

Hoping it'll either fix itself or I'll delete the whole lot (after backing up saved data) and reinstall hoping it's got a "save to the HDD" option rather than this.

It’s 195gb now on my Xbox. I enjoy playing but I’m tempted to delete it all just out of principle.

I never play warzone now but you can’t even have that uninstalled by it’s self!

After rebuilding the PS database, going back to factory reset and everything in between, I've realised the update has completely f***** my MW game. I can't see many PS5's in stock so I've ordered a new SSD internal HD for it. It's an old gen 1 PS4 and started to perform badly so hopefully it will get me working again and I can get back online with my mates. Expected delivery is 9th - 12th April so no gaming for me for a while.

Yup.
Don't bother reinstalling as I've just done that and it's exactly the same.

Same here.

The whole game is just becoming too much hassle.

Cheats and hackers, long waits for a mid-matched lobby, solos or duos in trios, etc etc etc

It’s just all a bit painful.

This.

As soon as there's another offering I'm sacking this shambles off.

I got kicked for inactivity 5 times today whilst running/ shooting.

This game is a pile of buggy st...constant lag issues tonight and then 2 hours into the session it craps out and tells me it's copying 27GB of something... honestly how much money do they make off of this again!!

Not seeing much positive about WZ anywhere at the moment. Seems to have gone rapidly downhill post CW release.

I've finally got beyond the game saying I am missing data packs even though they have been installed multiple times.

Dev error on the first game I tried to load.

Does seem ok actually in a game though

Remember the days before games could update online? They actually had to work out of the box forever.

So you log in the PS4..... Copy the 27gb to play... Make sure you've downloaded all the packs you need to play multiplayer.... Have a game or two then the OH fancies a go... So you close the application and log on her profile.. and it needs to copy the 27gb again.

Just fk off.

Is this even working for anyone anymore?

I’m on Xbox and can’t play multiplayer. It fills the lobby, says loading level, then crashes to main screen with the specific map error.

Time for uninstalling I think.

I've said for a while now that none of the games in the last 10 years would have got a Nintendo gold seal. Downloadable patches, tight deadlines and big money have pushed devs into get it out there and maybe fix it later cycles.
