I thought it was an update.
I'm having to reinstall campaign and multiplayer packsWhy do they get to choose to wipe data on our machines?
Hundreds of gigs having to redownload is just not acceptable.
That was awkward. Everyone dropped me the money, I dived on with our newly scrounged £10k for a cheeky loud out... done my click up once, buy fast and chuck the loud out... turns out they now have an rcxd at the end of the list... so the team of randoms start name calling so I had to turn full prick, and bought a self revive with the change and ran away... my bad.

I'm having to reinstall campaign and multiplayer packsEverytime I want to start it now it has to copy 27GB odd of data before starting. Not very convienient having to launch it 30 mins before playing.
Hoping it'll either fix itself or I'll delete the whole lot (after backing up saved data) and reinstall hoping it's got a "save to the HDD" option rather than this.

After rebuilding the PS database, going back to factory reset and everything in between, I've realised the update has completely f***** my MW game. I can't see many PS5's in stock so I've ordered a new SSD internal HD for it. It's an old gen 1 PS4 and started to perform badly so hopefully it will get me working again and I can get back online with my mates. Expected delivery is 9th - 12th April so no gaming for me for a while.

Oh bks mines doing the same on PS4. 27gb download each time you start the damn thing. Hoping it'll either fix itself or I'll delete the whole lot (after backing up saved data) and reinstall hoping it's got a "save to the HDD" option rather than this.

Remember the days before games could update online? They actually had to work out of the box forever.
I've said for a while now that none of the games in the last 10 years would have got a Nintendo gold seal. Downloadable patches, tight deadlines and big money have pushed devs into get it out there and maybe fix it later cycles.Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
