Are any of you guys interested in a race series/championship online?
Like the one the PS4 guys are doing? I had a look and couldn't see anything organised yet!
Yes yes yes. Like the one the PS4 guys are doing? I had a look and couldn't see anything organised yet!
I was doing some online racing with Sharky last night and it was very fun, so a PH championship would be brilliant
Yeah i would be in after a bit more practice!

It's now playable, although on forza I have no assists and manual clutch and on this I still have to have traction and stability control with auto box.
With stability off I find it almost impossible to catch a slide even with full opposite lock. And using A as clutch and X/B as up/down shift I find it hard to do smooth shifts which upsets the balance of the car and I end up in the gravel.
All in all though if they can sort a few bits out and I get a bit better this is going to be awesome. Tempted to get a thrustmaster or fanatec wheel now :/

Fancy giving the Ferrari 458 steering wheel a go - how does the pedal set secure to the floor? And can you add a manual gearbox to it? Thanks chaps...
The wheel is fantastic, i'd recommend it to anyone, although the FFB takes a bit of setting up and getting used to on PCars. My pedals are mounted to my wheelstand so I can't comment on how they'd do on the floor... Not great i'd assume.
As for the manual box, yep, there are a few add ons, I have the TH8A shifter and it is sublime, plus you can go from H pattern to sequential within about 40 seconds worth of work
I've updated the wiki with my GT too

When I am trying to change the buttons, keeps saying I need to assign more buttons to controls
I think I have them all covered other than gears etc, any advice? Ta!
Do all of the ones you want and then hit start and go to options and back out from there and it will save them for you.I think I have them all covered other than gears etc, any advice? Ta!

Roll on the patch. Just got home too this and its woefully ste.
With the controller it's ok, but with the wheel it's brilliant. I wouldn't say woefully bad but there are some cars with a controller that are really bad but some that are good but it is supposed to be a sim and would you drive a car with a controller?Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
