Anyone with Gamepass gone for the Premium Edition Upgrade at £31.49 ? Not massively bothered about the release date bump as I wont be able to play till the 3rd Sep anyway but fancy the soundtrack and the digital artwork and of course the first expansion !

Wait for reviews first! You need a cpu upgrade but won't do it till reviews come in. My i7-7700k will prob botlle neck my 3080 at 2k
I'll be watching the reviews here for a few weeks before deciding whether to jump, though then I'll just have a few weeks before the Cyberpunk DLC. My reason for the quote is this could be my limitation and already is with Cyberpunk 2077 as I get the same FPS at HD as 4K. Can't justify a PC replacement/serious upgrade for another year though.Jasandjules said:
Quite put out that I would need to purchase an X Box to play this.......I see it would run on an S but I assume really I need an X?
If you fancy playing ANY new Betheseda titles in future then I would resign yourself to having an Xbox or PC of some flavour .... Yes I know it's possible to play from the cloud but in my experience its never fantastic.Narcisus said:

I bought an Xbox X for this very reason. I have had a PS5 since it was launched but as soon as I could pre-order Starfield, it sealed the decision to get the Xbox. It's a bit like needing multiple TV streaming channels (Disney+, Netflix, HBO, Paramount etc) if you want to have access to everything.
Expensive but still cheaper than a high-end PC!
More official news, planets can be fully explored but they are in sections with loading screens between/opening new areas of the map by flying your ship to them. The whole planet isn't loaded in one go. Sections are Skyrim sized and can take 40 mins to walk across. Makes sense considering the details on some.
