It's a bit of a faff if you've not played with your router before, but if you haven't done it, it can cause exactly the symptoms you describe.
How to do it depends on your router, but most have a help page online these days.
I'll try these, it might save the Xbox going flying off the balcony!

AHHHH fecking love and hate this game

A few matches last night with mates. first game we joined a game 1/3 way through and did well. good kill/death rato.
Second game nailed it. Went for objectives. Team worked great. lots of kills and top end of the ranking
third game 1 kill between 4 of us with 25 death. pop you head out dead, spawn, dead, getting killed from every angle, snipers, shotguns. U name it.
fourth game, top of the rankings again.
5 game same as the 3rd.

Seem's if you play you get good game then a crap game almost every time.

Those settings are Xbox, PS4 here.
Quit 3/4 through a game last night, even with the sweeper at point blank in the back of people I was not killing them, then getting 1 shotted by helreigel and mp18 that weren't headshots. If it weren't for the banter the game would be in the bin.

I see they are adding the Community Test Environment back in, PC for starters but potentially console too - why employ people to make something when you can get people to pay you for a broken / incomplete solution and then have them help fix it for free, cunning smile

Patch notes for 1.06 are around somewhere apparently but I can't find them.

There are similar settings for ps4:

Application                      TCP Ports                                         UDP Ports
PlayStation 4          80, 443, 1935, 3478-3480                         3478-3479

I tried the port-forwarding yesterday evening after another horrendous couple of games. I only had a ten-minute test afterwards but it seems to have worked, so thank you!

I've become so used to using cavalry now that it's affected my infantry gameplay hehe

I knew I'd hate the horses before it came out, I hated them in the beta, I hate them in the game (both on my team and rushing towards me with more armour than a heavy tank). Hateful things.

Bravo for mastering them though smile

Nothing more satisfying than side stepping a horse and no scoping the guy.

Have you noticed that if you jump off of said horse, you keep your invulnerability?

Too right mate! Did just that last night with the Selbstlader and was grinning like a loon for about five minutes after. He must've been near death already for one shot did him in, but I still felt pretty fantastic.

Another discovery I made last night is that the Cei-Rigotti is actually very good. While I still prefer the M1907 Sweeper and the Selbstlader, the Cei-Rigotti impresses me all over again. And, despite my very best efforts, I just can't get on with the Autoloading 8.35. Absolutely superb at close range but if I'm in close, I want more rounds for the reassurance that, yes, I can kill his mate as well.

Or as they are coming towards you to lay down, rocket gun out and see them flying in the air

Are you connecting directly to the router (this helped me loads when I found BF3 was unplayable)? What actual speed do you have at home? Are your cables fitting properly?
