Thanks shall do it ltr as the winrate stat is getting more and more annoying, think many people play in a different way according to the stats.
Seen so may games where we were supposed to win big time according to stats and our heroic team when in the kamikaze way and we were wiped out.

I put a new video card in my PC last week, and finally turned on "improved" graphics (well, without the fps dropping into frames per minute...).
The maps look so different and so much better, I'm getting lost on them!!
Yeah its a pretty game when all the settings are wound up. The maps look so different and so much better, I'm getting lost on them!!
Happy to help with the SPG missions too beati, just holler if I'm online.
I unlocked the top gun for the FV3805 this evening, it's finally solved my gun size envy issues, British artillery being plagued with miniature toy guns and all.
Accuracy, aim time and reload have all taken a significant hit, pen is up slightly but the arc is higher, meaning longer shell travel time but better penetration chance. It really sickens me when RNG gives me a bum hand, and I splash the front of an E-100 for 700 damage. It really winds me up, but such is life, sometimes you win - I hit the tracks of a Waffle earlier and splashed his gun area, netting a cool 1450 on a non-penetrating hit.

Very nice, well played. Love the cromwell, such a fun tank. Got the ram mission too, I didnt try it in that tank but at the speed it can go at that could be a big bump. Apparently they are testing some new motion physics at the moment, which will allow handbrake turns, sounds like a hoot - tamks can be flipped over too, and braking will be less effective. Should imagine that will make the Cromwell even more fun.
Elited the Chi Ri finally today. Much like a Top Gear 'st car' road trip i ended up quite liking it in the end - you just need to play it a lot to get the playstyle of it. Managed 2 ace tankers and a Radleys in it this afternoon plus a 3 shot 3 kill in 3 seconds clip of doom. That felt really good. Want the STA -1, but dont want to part with the Chi Ri now

Indeed it is, on some maps its effectiveness is questionable but maps like that one with a hill in the middle and intermittent cover you can use it for hit and run tactics (its forte).Apparently they are testing some new motion physics at the moment, which will allow handbrake turns, sounds like a hoot - tamks can be flipped over too, and braking will be less effective. We often have three of them in a platoon and hang around in the base for a minute or so before doing a banzai charge, a tactic that causes absolute chaos if your team is on the ball because the opposition turn around to try and shoot you. However, like most tanks of that ilk if you get tracked you are dead.
Yep, I knew I had the ramming mission to do so I told my platoon buddy to hold his fire on the arty piece which had a few HP remaining (we had both shot I once), it’s one of those missions that just happens as you play the game rather than forcing it, especially in a medium tank.
Ahh yes the 3 shot auto, I have recently fitted that to my Chi-Ri, I am surprised that it didn’t request I remove the medium calibre gun rammer though (the French Stuff doesn’t let you fit a rammer) that was on from the stock 75mm. 7.5 second reload and 1s between shots. Shame the tank doesn’t have the mobility it desperately needs.
Thanks for the arty offer guys. I'll take you up on that.
BTW if anyone needs some personal arty support for the light tank spotting missions, I'm happy to help with that.
I quite liked the Chi-Ri as well in the end. The 3 shot burst and pretty good clip reload are really nice on certain maps. I played it a lot for the WZ-111 mission, along with the tier 6. I have to say the tier 8 is worth it and I still don't have the top turret, gun and tracks.

I've just finished up a match on Pacific Island, tier 10 game, using my FV3805 with the 7.2" gun. I ended up with 5 kills, 6057 damage, High Calibre, Reaper and an Ace Tanker. I opened the game by one-shotting a Panther II, then doing the same to an AMX 50 100, before splashing an E-100, a T30 and a ST-I for kills, and dishing out a little extra damage to another ST-I. Nine shots fired, 7 hits, 6057 damage, 5 kills. Needs a buff.

Only 865 damage a hit? Yes, that needs a buff, pretty feeble at tier 9. You get that in the SU-14-1 at tier 7, which incidentally has a higher damage potential.
Yeah, dunno why people are complaining about arty really. Seems perfectly reasonable to me 9.6 patch is this week too by the way, should be interesting..
Just wrapped up another big platoon session with Z06George and another former PH-er by the name of RSpetnaz. Tier 9 was the order of the day, with me in the FV3805, George in the T95 and RSpetnaz in his M103 and Centurion 7/1. Many noobs were rebalanced. There was probably much rage any many who thought they knew "arty safe" found themselves being temporarily nerfed by 183mm HE shells. I even played some rounds just firing premium HE for "addtional lol". I even bounced a T-62A round off my rear armour, though I'm not sure how that is possible, I must have caught him at an autobounce angle on the sloped lower section.
After I dropped out of the platoon, I decided on a few quick matches, only to find George and RSpetnaz on the friendly side, so we annihilated the opposition on Prokhorovka. I then entered another match on Komarin, finding them on the red team. After killing a T110E3 who seemed reluctant to move from his base, I turned my attention to George, catching him in the open, splashing him first them killing him with a direct hit. Thanks for the xp!
For real though, these two guys are ace fun to platoon with, what a night. Probably the most fun night I've had on WOT tbh, I won't forget this one.
As an aside, I had a look on tank-compare at the FV3805 compared to the M53/55, and the M is superior in just about every respect. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any single parameter where the FV is better. The M53/55 is so powerful, and it doesn't look like WG will ever nerf it, so it's no surprise that probably 80% of all tier 9 arty (at least) seems to be in M53/55s. FV3805 needs a buff.
