Well I tried to get on a few times around 5-6Pm last night and all I got was Destiny servers are offline at present. So went on Middle earth instead. I had no issues with not having a net connection.
Anyone else get this. It had to update 20 meg before it would show the start page but said no servers. So I gather they were offline for a update or something?

I got invited into a team to take down Crota last night, but after a couple of wipes people started to leave. No idea why but it is bloody tough.
I used the checkpoint to show the lads from here the mechanics and what happens. We had a couple of goes but it wasn't a serious attempt. A team full of 31's would make a big difference too.
Still, quite happy to keep running the first half of the raid for the loot. Got a hunter chest piece, and titan gloves and boots so far.
One thing I need to find out. I am having issues with the mic. I don't use it for other games but both my OE mic and the kinetic will not allow me to talk to others on the game. I have done the tests with the mic outside of the game and seems to work 100%. turning on and off the tv and the test
Anyone else had issues with the mic in the game? I'm not sure how to test it via the game. It used to work and just wondering if anything I have done in the game to screw it up

No mate that was the new strike we did.Does your mic work for other games? What about party chat as that has nothing to do with the in game chat. If that doesn't work then I can only assume that it's the head set that's knackered.

Well enjoying the game now I'm back on. I gather the updates have helped me shoot from level 22 to almost 26 in a week. And it's not like I'm playing every evening.
A bit pissed I cannot find out why mu kinect or OE mic that you connect to the controller will not work
I've checked it hears me in party chat. But when I come to play the game nothing. I have checked settings and the only thing I have not done is checked it with other games yet.
I could hear Tank through my surround sound but he could not hear me. when I used my mic it then went. and nothing.
Apart from that loving the game and getting into the new strikes etc...
I have now got a legendary fusion rifle which is good and much better than what I had before. But I still pic up lots of uncommon or rare guns and not much more.

Have you tried manually setting the ports on your router? or hard resetting the XBOX after rebooting your modem and router? we had some party/fireteam chat issues last week, we all spent 10 minutes rebooting and resetting and came back working fine I've checked it hears me in party chat. But when I come to play the game nothing. I have checked settings and the only thing I have not done is checked it with other games yet.

I've hard reset the xbox and router
then updated the controllers BUT both controllers would not up date with the headset so I think this is the issue. The OE headset so looking for a new one someone said you can get a turtle beach that connects to the controllers so going to try that
And once I did the above the Kinetic is now allowing me to talk on the game so had fun with glen and his mate last night for a hour or 2
I was also looking at the stats on my destiny app and seems I've not done a raid? How to i find a raid?
I can get into the vault of glass but found out I need 5 others and is this worth trying yet. I'm almost on level 26

There were raids running nearly every night at one point, but I think people have been re-grouping to get to level 31 (plus pushed for time).
Hopefully we can keep organised and get some more going.
