Mazda Demio on the original Gran Turismo.
That was my first thought too, more "memorable" than "favourite" though!
Not familiar with that one. Although I'm aware of that Suzuki from GT2, I only got into the franchise with GT3. What made that Mazda memorable?
The Mazda Demio A-Spec was the car you got in GT1’s Sunday Cup. Which was usually the first car you won in the game.

Ruf Yellowbird - Assetto Corsa - Nordschleife. Pretending I'm Stefan Roser until binning it half way round every lap!

My first day playing AC I tried the Yellowbird on Highlands Short... hit boost on the pit exit and stuffed it straight into the wall. paperbag Scary little car!

It was also the first car I bought for some bizarre reason.

What I loved about Gran Turismo was the fun of racing crap cars like normal people own and tuning them to make them more competitive. I did learn the hard way that you can't polish a turd though, thousands of credits of mods weren't enough to make a kei car quick or nice to drive.

I also liked the Stage 4 turbo on standard tyres, suspension and brakes, coming to a gravel trap near you!

The Getaway series of games featured some really realistic renderings of cars inc TVR , BMWs and Vectras etc. For such an old title I think it was a great game.

I loved this car on Gran Turismo. I seem to recall I could make it perform impossible drifts around Grand Valley Speedway.

The way they accurately mapped London was brilliant too.

I'm going to throw one in that isn't my favourite car per se but my most memorable video game car experience.

From:

It felt so real at the time with the proper controls and gearbox, the swing out seat, the "key" etc.

Before then it was Pole Position, Chase HQ, Outrun, Spy Hunter, APB, Super Off Road (stand up cabinet with 3 wheels), Championship Sprint (stand up, 2 wheels), Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco Grand Prix etc

The only thing that really surpassed it for theatrics was the Ridge Racer Ful Scale with the MX5.

A special mention for the Stunt Car Racer car with the flames coming out of the stack pipes.

I used to repair, install and refurb stuff like Hard Drivin and Ridge Racer full scales (plus many others)

I spent many hours testing them after repair wink

Some fantastic mentions there. thumbup

I used to love sitting in the Ridge Racer full scale MX-5 when they had that in the Arcade at Meadowhall in Sheffield. drivingcool

I still also play Stunt Car Racer occasionally even now. APB is also one of my favourites too.

Living the dream!

The steering wheel came off a Hard Drivin' cabinet I was using in Blackpool once, presumably not a very well dared for example smile

Either the Castrol Supra or Calsonic R32 from Gran Turismo. Loved some of the Ridge Racer cars too but cant remember what they're called

Remember SD1's with whale tails, and kitted up Civics being in that game. Would be awesome if someone remastered it!

I used to travel all over the place, it was a great job until home consoles took over and parts for old machines became obsolete.

cool

I was genuinely sad when the consoles took over to be fair, because I loved the Arcades so much. It was never the same after that for sure.

When I saw that full scale Ridge Racer at Meadowhall, it was probably the most amazing thing I'd ever seen as a kid.
Must have cost some money that setup.

Other memorable mentions goes out to the original Colin McRae Rally, driving the Impreza on a Winter track at night and Toca Touring Cars with the Meganes & Audis etc on PC, it used to be shown on ITV back in them days so it was ace booting it up and playing as the same cars.
