What time would qualifying be? Would there be a method of recognising which server on vroc and what will the password be? Is there some kind of mechanism for managing such a league or will we be counting points on an unofficial basis in a thread such as this?

Count me in....i'm almost there with WinVROC.
I can now see all the races that are going on....but when I join it launches GPL and crashes on when I hit the green flag to go......any ideas?

Did you indicate before pulling into moving traffic?

Sorry, game crashes are normally graphic or audio driver related. Make sure they are the latest updates. Then check you have all the right GPL patches. You will probably be running it in D3D mode so also check your DirectX settings. Run DxDiag to check or update (I think we are up to Dx9a at the moment.

It works fine when it boots normally (i.e single player) it just does not like when I launch through WinVROC.

BTW how do the races work? Do we all "arrive" in the pits, get practice and then race? Can we chat while racing?

We all meet in the chat room, someone hosts, you click on the race at the top of VROC and you then arrive in practice

Have you got FSAA enabled? I've read that it causes problems in multiplayer, though this may only be in D3D. Try disabling it and see if that works

So, WinVROC doesn't work with my Router/Modem! I need to know what Ports (TCP and UDP) it uses so I can open them up.

My router doesn't allow me to open them all (NAT) and filter at PC level so I'm stuck opening one port at a time!

Anyone got any clues?

Have you got a modem you can try it on? Still works ok.
