Bad luck Paul It's worth having a free isp setup with local call rates for just this sort of eventuality. BT charge 6p for one hour off peak local calls now.

My BT supplied internet was also appalling last night, luckily it got into VROc (at the 6th time of asking) but I never saw the chat server, and after the race that was it ..... I think there was a more widespread network problem yesterday than just NTL - where are you in the country? I'm in Northampton and sometimes local "nodes" can F up and take down all the suppliers (they all use the same routes around the UK and internationally anyway.

Blimey - bit of a co-incedence! - still all roads do lead to Northampton (and then straight out again as quickly as possible)

Just realised that we aren't at Croft next week so my sneeky practise last night was a complete waste of time........
