Whilst I understand everyone likes to keep stuff quiet but I would consider myself to be an average player yet even in the x-bow I'm getting 1:13 round rome???
Not that I'm here for rome but it's annoying me I'm 2 seconds off the pace
I've tried loads and loads of cars but struggled to get a 1:12, lapping generally in the 1:13s without nitrous which seems so far off the pace I don't know if I'll even bother to join the race tonight. Not that I'm here for rome but it's annoying me I'm 2 seconds off the pace

After making a massive nuisance of myself in race one the best thing for me in race two was to leave the track and spectate.
Sorry again for the collisions in race one, really should have not bothered tonight...I hate that bloody track I really do esp in reverse.
Next round MONZA, I'm looking forward to starting afresh.
Thank you Colin

Really enjoyed tonight, there was some great racing happening throughout the field. ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
I think qualifying definitely needs changing. It actually wasn’t so bad, but a disconnect in qualifying resulting in no entrance in race 1 is completely unjustifiable. Ironic that PD issued new updates but seemingly thinks this is a good idea.
Also, the new qualifying mode felt a bit vulnerable to server errors, too. Very easily there could be issues as qualifying starts, leaving some unable to set times.
I liked the old qualifying because we qualified earlier and finished earlier, whilst disconnections and more laps could be done if one wanted.
I like the new rules. The fastest car by far is still the Elise, after fears that that it wouldn’t be advantageous without a fuel/tyre wear advantage. However, it is possible to now have a proper race with a mix of cars. There is less “strategy” (it was predictable anyway), but a balls-out race for me is always more entertaining than driving around conservatively with a huge car advantage – this puts a bit more emphasis on skill and racing rather than driving to a strategy because others will have to pit.
