Ok, here are the best 4 shots from the R1 Crash Cam:

Goldeeno and Morph getting tangled up

Cliff's monster car control at the chicane

Morph locking up at the chicane

And finally, Goldeeno's win-denying moment

Best at Aintree is 1:35.6

What a great race. I got off the line ok, however exiting the craner curves for the first time I was fast but a bit wide, I hit a bump on the grass and spun into Mop (taking him out) boxedin sorry.

I managed to straighten it out while someone in a read car (Andy?) dodged out of my way boxedin sorry.

So from 7th I managed to duck up the inside of a couple of cars busy fighting one another at the Melbourne hairpin wink

Then had some good battles with the cars in front which were quite franic and a bit of a blur, especially with Mop copying every move I made hehe

Great driving though as no-one nudged me thumbup although I think I slightly nerfed someone into the Melbourne hairpin boxedin sorry.

Hard luck on Goldeeno, who was putting in very consistant fast laps. I never would have caught you if you hadn't spun (you were actually pulling away from me about 2-4 tenths a lap), allowing me to close right up.

Then when you got out of shape exiting Goddards I got the run down to Redgate bounce

Excellent race chaps bow

Will not be around this weekend, CPU has gone haywire again and is off for repair - Motherboard, Ram, HDD - who know's I just need it to run for more than ten minutes without crashing !!

If someone can send me the files again, I'll update the race results.

Well that was unexpected smile Didn't think I would be very competitive at Aintree as I had trouble doing consistent lap times without spinning off. Had a pretty poor start, getting bogged down and losing a couple of places. Was 5th going into the second lap, but everyone was close together so was keeping back a bit, out of the way of any potential carnage! eek Managed to gain a couple of places as those two nasty left-handers claimed some victims. Then everyone just seemed to pull off onto the grass and let me through confusedbiggrin
So was then under pressure for the remaining half of the race, hoping I wouldn't bin it and throw away all those lovely points, but managed to keep it tidy and finished with some time to spare smile

I buggered that race up completely.

On lap one Andy hit the brakes a bit earlier than I anticipated, and I knocked him which sent me off the track. When I rejoined I not only picked up a stop/go, but also took out Goldeeno, which was nice for him I'm sure.

I served my stop go, and fought my way back, enjoying magical appearing/disappearing cars the whole way. On the final lap I caught R1 GTR, and was looking to make a move when he disappeared. He then re-appeared right on top of me causing me to shit myself, spin off, and lose the chance.

All in all a total wash out for me, never mind. Apologies to Goldeeno for the lap 1 incident - I like to think it wasn't my fault but it probably was.

Sorry if I braked a bit earlier, always a bit dodgy on lap 1 as you everyone is on cold tyres and all very close so was probably being a bit over cautious - I don't remember anyone bumping into me, though did also see certain cars appearing and vanishing randomly, which is somewhat off putting!

For some reason the downloaded zip extracts the track to Aintree 2.1 folder (which itself contains the Aintree folder). So it's 1 level to low.

Go to your locations folder and into the Aintree2.1 folder, then cut the Aintree folder and paste it in Locations. Hope this helps.

With there being so much downloaded content involved in Rfactor its always best to try the server a day or two before the race.
