First time on the board for a while. No splits as I can't see or take photo of the timing table in the Vive!
You've missed me off wink

I have the same problem - last time I went in for a new mouse I came out with a new GFX card and water cooling

Sorry, god knows how I managed that getmecoat

Hope it's sorted now.

Thanks for the tip FWD. And good job Tronneh! Interested to hear your views when it arrives.

Jezz, you won't regret getting a wheel. I went from pad to wheel this time last year. My times didn't improve massively but it's much more fun.

[Apologies if my posts persuade people to spend money on gadgets!]

I moved from pad to wheel about 4 years ago, although I was slower for about 3 months as I don't play all that regularly the difference in enjoyment and immersion meant I didn't care frankly. Once you have a wheel set up you will struggle to go back. Same with triple screens, a single feels like driving through a letterbox...

My big battle now is getting my 8yo daughter off Euro Truck 2... She bloody loves it lol

I just upgraded my G29 to include a shifter on my omega stand. Now all I want to do is use the gear shift and clutch. It makes me seriously slow but the enjoyment is through the roof.

0.5s improvement with KERs.
Any suggestions on best place to use KERs - not sure if its best out of low gear corners, on the long straights or anywhere/everywhere?

Does KERS not regenerate? I tried a couple more laps without once it had drained and stuffed it I was trying so hard.

I use it on all straights, especially up the hill after T1 through the sweepers. I'm maxed out in 6th before braking for the chicane. I'm fully deploying in one lap usually running out before the last run to the line. Definitely use it on the uphill sections out of corners.

I don't think it does, I just keep restarting.

Blimey shall give that a go as I'm always a chunk short of max revs up to the chicane, still cant see me picking up the 1 second diff to your sector 1 though. (Might help if at least once I manage to hit the apex on Turn 1 whistle)

You have to be inch perfect with the line, clip the black and white kerbs and it's game over...get the entry wrong and you're in the wall. It took me 4 or 5 attempts to nail it. Like threading a very fast piece of cotton through a needle smile

Slow in fast out, then work on getting faster on entry...I brake quite early and hard, but I get on the gas at or before the apex in 3rd gear deploying KERS all the way up to chicane pretty much (at least until I'm redlining in 6th anyway)...

I need to find a way to record again, shadow play doesn't like triple screens.

I used Kers pretty much all the time. I run out by the 3rd to last corner.
Immediately across the line, brake just as you head down the hill, into third. Then feed the power in. You can keep flat here with KERS on all the way to the chicane - Lovely corner to get right. Brake just as the tarmac changes, down to fourth, slight dab of brakes, KERS on as you power round the long right hander.

After the short sprint up the hill, brake hard for the long left, take a late apex and don't be afraid to let it run wide, there's more space than you think!

Onto the next right, again take a late apex, 3rd gear, KERS all the way up the hill.
Brake at the 300 board, turn in, 3rd gear again - run wide as there's loads of track and then a sprint up this hill.
This left hander is where I suffer the most, you need to turn in late, get as close to the curb as you can but as previous, don't touch the curb. Again, up to 4th, turn in to the second to last corner, use the curb on the outside, then it's the last corner, take a late apex to maximise speed onto the start finish straight.
