Halo is boring. Its a space age call of duty. Its such a childish response aswel you see all over twitter. Warzone is a battle royale. Halo is not. Different type of game.Now pubg is free for everyone from January onwards. Now that was a game. I might take that back up if enough players start and bots get removed from in game. Properly loved pubg. Its clunky, its slower paced but somethings just more intense about building fights. Quads vs quads building rushee are just crazy. You shoot your weapon at a guy 5 foot away and your both battling for a good minute trying to bring that recoil back in... hahaha what a game.

Halo was how it is before COD, BR yes great fun dropping in being killed in seconds to restart the game. There very similar games really, just different takes.The issue is warzone was working now it is vanguard even BLOPS didn't change everything. Anyway moot it will allow me to play loads of other games so works out well.

So no weapons in my load out, and a whole new map to learn. Its too much, to be starting at square one again. Cant rank up weapons as I don’t own Vanguard (and don’t plan to, WW2 is not interesting to me from a gaming perspective) so i think that might be the end of the warzone road for me.

Left it updating overnight, and had a go yesterday. Not sure of it, first off is obviously I've no idea of the map, that'll take some getting used to, as Verdansk i had sorted.
Other issue I found, was its very glitchy, I had someone killing me from under the floor, no wonder I didn't see him, and only realised when I viewed the kill cam, did me several times.
Have to see how it improves.

To buck the trend i'm quite enjoying it.
New map seems bigger somehow, quite like the open spaces and big changes in altitude.
Guns aren't great but i've got a good blue print that i was given from the end of verdansk - seems overpowered if anything.

Played the new map twice the other night. We finished 3rd playing Plunder on both games. We normally win so I suspect a bit of map knowledge will help moving forward. I used a Vanguard blueprint and had to change the optic as when I aimed down sight, a glitch meant half the screen was blocked. I also had an issue with another weapon which was doing that weird matrix style broken gun image that I've seen on Verdansk. Other than that, it played OK. I'm more of a multiplayer sort of guy and loving Vanguard for it's fast paced run gun action. When my mates are on they prefer Plunder.
I did try on game of BR solos and that ended the same as most times I play. I don't even make it to the ground before getting shot out the sky. I couln't even be bothered to go to the gulag so quit. I've never really enjoyed the BR as much as Plunder.

Jumped into plunder. Same story. Except the added weirdness of a british policewoman and helicopters flying around a WW2 map.

A really quick way to level up guns in Warzone is to run the Pointman perk as a team on Plunder and just do big game bounties - after a few completed contracts you end up getting 2-7k weapon xp per kill. Currently levelling up the Automaton.I'm getting there now, still not totally sure on the map it just doesn't seem to have the distinction between areas like Verdansk seemed to have, maybe thats just familiarisation right now, but not sure. Only really been playing BR Solo's at the moment as my mates haven't been around so its hard to tell where the popular areas are, spend a of time roaming around the generic bush and then get hit out of nowhere a lot of the time.
I had a blueprint for the STG44 and its not bad, so its worth getting to the load out now for that. Double XP for Playstation users today plus some Double XP tokens have allowed some rapid levelling, nearly upto 50 now.
