All of a sudden on my PS3 version, the camera zoom doesn't work properly! Anyone else had this?
I had that, just had to restart the game.I managed to take the first fort before I was meant to. I took out the person on the mortar, created a diversion to draw all the guards to one spot and then mortared them. Worked very well!
Anyone know how to open up the car racing?
I know you have to visit someone (female, can't remember the name) but I can't find them on the map. I presume you need to do some kind of side mission to light it up - any ideas which one?
BTW - I've done campaign enough to open up the North, and I've completed all of the L missions.
Thanks

I can't remember the name of the place, but it's bottom left of the map - The first village you go to after the introduction. No idea if you need to do something first though.I know you have to visit someone (female, can't remember the name) but I can't find them on the map. The north is definitely more challenging, lots of critters prowling around.
I came across a leopard and wolf having a big fight last night, highly entertaining.

I have now undertaken a few rescues, you know, risk my neck to save some innocent person, I kill the guard/guards then an eagle/bear/nasty beastie comes along and kills them before I can untie them!!Or there I am sneaking carefully up on an enemy camp, and some wolves/dogs/honey badgers attack me!!

Racingb events are at certain outposts, you need to liberate the outpost before you can participate in races. I know you have to visit someone (female, can't remember the name) but I can't find them on the map. I presume you need to do some kind of side mission to light it up - any ideas which one?

Just out of curiosity, is there a way to take down gunship helicopters without the RPG? I done the "Sleeping Saints" mission 4 or 5 times before eventually quitting, tried it with the RPG and done it first time
Firing a sniper rifle into the engine 20-30 times had no effect, neither did the assault rifle or grenade launcher

I've taken down plenty of helicopters with the grenade launcher, one shot kill normally.
I couldn't hit the bd on this level, when ever I popped out from behind a rock long enough I got nailed. RPG was one attempt, one kill Also, I couldn't see any pilot? Just one guy in the back?
only about 5 hours in but enjoying it massively.
graphics are not too let down y the PS3. it does feel a little like an expansion pack for FC3 but for me thats a good thing.
not done any of the drug missions yet, and im spending most of my time flying around getting into trouble or getting eaten.

I've managed elsewhere to use a sniper rifle / grenade launcher. On this scene I had to use a RPG. Firing a sniper rifle into the engine 20-30 times had no effect, neither did the assault rifle or grenade launcher
EDIT: PS, unrelated, but the snakes are bds.
