I'm walking into a shop and buying it on Friday, exactly like I did 25 years ago for GT1.
I remember doing the same, I popped to Currys on my lunch break and couldn’t wait to get home at 5!Having played racing games since Race on the Vic 20, and Pole Position on the BBC/Dragon 32 it was mind blowing!
I can clearly remember spending hours and hours tweaking the gear ratios on my Impreza so I could use it against pretty much everything apart from the very fastest top speed competition.
I’m looking forward to doing the same again, and as a huge fan of the livery creator I can’t wait to get the changes there

It’s only done the 10gb for me now just the countdown. Does that mean everyone on the planet will have to download the rest tomorrow? If so, I’ll go to work
If its you’ve just purchased it the first download is 10gb then it does the larger download. There’s then a 7gb patch once complete. ecsrobin said:

If anyone has the 25th anniversary addition, I’ve redeemed the code, got the 100k credits , but no sign of the 3 bonus cars . Not sure if they are licence locked.
My cars appeared, not that you can use them for much at the start.I just have the normal version though, no Yaris for me .
Tempted to log on at midnight and give it a go but will wait until after work tomorrow so I can "do it properly" with my Playseat and T300
Those of you (most?) going for disc version; what is the advantage when you have to download to the hard drive anyway? Is it a smaller install than the digital version? Appreciate there is resale potential with the disc but doubt you'll be getting rid of the game for years!

Isn’t it just for extra credits? If someone wants to buy those they can crack on. I’ll stick to earning them!
Doesn't GT pretty much throw credits at you? I came to GT Sport very late and only really did the licences and track mastery things and I got loads of credits plus loads of free cars.WhisperingWasp said:

GT sport was a real grind. I played quite a bit and never could afford the classic cars that I really wanted.
Ah I never got fully into it. But I got awarded cars every 20 minutes it seemed and I'm sure I had enough credits to buy anything apart from the £20m ones. Saying that, I only mean enough credits to buy one really expensive car, not lots!If I get the PS4 version, and then upgrade to the PS5 game if/when I get one, will the game save transfer over to the new console or would I have to start again on PS5. In the stuff I've seen about the game the game save isn't mentioned.
Edit: just ordered the PS4 disc version anyway.

GT7 FAQs say there is a way to transfer game save data when moving from PS4 to PS5 Edit: just ordered the PS4 disc version anyway.

is it not all saved in the cloud if you are PS+ ?
just sign in to new console and it should all be there?????
Not an issue for me, I’m on PS5. You are right but the poster I responded to hasn’t indicated PS+ or not. Either way he will be able to continue his game save upon changing console. just sign in to new console and it should all be there?????
P.s. 10 mins for anyone truly dedicated!
