Nice time what car did you go for after seems a huge mix of cars in the top 20 times. I'm going to give the first rd a go see if it actually works tried last season and just wouldn't load for me so gave up after 10 mins wait. Toyota one looks a right mess ATM.
Think I used the same as you, the Genesis? I’ve just seen that they’ve introduced a global leaderboard showing the Top 10 times for licenses, circuit experiences and missions.
I currently have 8 licenses times good enough for Top 10, with these 3 being my best.
I’m sure they’ll get blown away in the coming weeks though now that people have something to aim for

How do you get the international licences? It is grey on my system.
I am with you on the rally, I have done the basic ones but with a controller it is quite awful in the main..... I will await a steering wheel before trying those again...
Everyone I know playing has swapped from wheels to controller for rally stages. Sorry. I am with you on the rally, I have done the basic ones but with a controller it is quite awful in the main..... I will await a steering wheel before trying those again...

Won my first manufactures cup race pretty chuffed with that not the highest grade lobby but still in a class so fairly respectable. Might do a last to first challange in my next attempt.
Good stuff! Be interested to hear how you get on going forward. Stability of lobbies, penalty systems etc. Some of the usual daily race lobbies are almost unplayable sometimes!

Tbf both races went well didn't get any issues and the races were very clean and respectful and for first 2 laps very close. Which is a surprise as we know how much difficulties it is between PS4 and ps5 users with connection issues. Some of the usual daily race lobbies are almost unplayable sometimes!
Agreed in daily races though haven't been on them much for a while.
Interesting one this morning during the Le Man's 30 minute, first lap 4th place car goes a little wide at Tertre Rouge, gets tagged by 5th and spun around and then T boned, yellow flags, everything backs up behind the crash, initial car reverses freeing up the cars, but then roles back onto circuit.
By the time all the cars eventually stream past still on caution the leading 3 cars are already past L' Arche chicane.
Thankfully we had the mother of all storms lap 3 to 6 and AI can't drive in the wet.

So the gr1 race you can't actually use the leman cars because they have the vgt cars in place at without one you have hardly any chance of winning also you start 30s behind so can't even do a no stop to catch up really pd who come up with this design. At least do a grid start or a closer rolling start to make it at least semi fair.
I'm getting really annoyed at the rolling starts, starting from the back. It means you have to go with a totally over-powered car, so that when you get to the front you just sail by. Or you try and keep it close, but then it's incredibly difficult to make up the 20-30 second gap you start with.
Surely it's not beyond the realms of programming to adjust the competitors to match the car you choose and have a tight race with everyone starting on the grid?!

A rolling start would be fine if the cars were a reasonable distance apart. But when the fastest car has half a minute head start, it just spoils the game. I managed 2nd in Daytona after about 20 attempts (aborted if lap 1-3 were not fast enough)Jasandjules said:

I’m stuck on Suzuka. I’ve abandoned it a couple of times because I can see the gap to the lead growing too fast. Any suggestions on what car/strategy I should use? Or do I just need to drive faster?
Depends on the weather, which appears to be different for each race.If it doesn't rain, Hizal runs a no-stop in the Tomahawk. You can't afford a single mistake or to dither about behind anyone.
If it rains, you need to time the pit. It's a long lap to be on the wrong tyre. One race I ran was bone dry and sunny in to T1, the radar didn't suggest much of a change, only on the zoomed out map was there anything visible. By T4 it was dark, hammering down and the water depth gauge was over the first mark. Carnage.

Even with the last 1 hour mission which was a challange this is the first time I've gone wtaf and I can't work out how to get first.
