thoughts from a flawless raider:
Been sat in a deep dark hole this morning, reflecting on last night and a few things really stood out.
1, Every man did his job - no messing about, no boredom mistakes.
2, The group (bar Goat) has played together from the start of the game.
3, The group has waited for those players to log on to start a raid/nightfall, even if that meant waiting in orbit for 10-20mins chatting.
4, We only died due to events out of our control, who dies falling into the abyss!
5, Communication was exceptional, only talking when needed, fair warning that bubbles were being deployed.
6, Consideration of others when using rocket launchers.
7, Not FFS when one of us died.
8, Goat was key to the raid - we needed that 6th man to stop anyone joining and spawning in dead.
9, Goat did his job, he stayed alive hiding on occasions not taking risks.
10, Tank yet again was a "Tank" - it all hinged on him at the end, I cannot imagine the pressure on him - its bad enough on a normal run!
overall I think "Patience & Time" were key to the success, The patience to wait for fireteam members and the time dedicated to the game........
I give a little nod and a wink to the guardians last night, job well done.

Well said i agree with every point there!! Especially for Tank at the end i was nervous just standing on the ledge never mind being stood next to crota. Been sat in a deep dark hole this morning, reflecting on last night and a few things really stood out.

Was sooo much fun last night. I was stting it when I got an invite to join the Flawless raid. I thought blimey they must be desperate which put a lot of pressure on me to listen and do exactly what I was told. The team work (discipline) was as always exceptional, i really notice this having now been in a couple of PUG groups. One of which Tank had to come and help complete before the flawless raid. I got left with a group I didnt know bar one person i met earlier doing Nightfalls, Bobbibly, nice chap, rest where very annoying (except Purple OFC), especialy having to hang around waiting for them to empty ammo for the heavy glitch. But, that said, I did get to run sword a few times and now appreciate whats going on there too, I learnt about the challice, where the swordbearer comes from, remembering to kite him into line of fire so the team could take him out and then learing which side i prefered to jump up, i learnt that theres a hole behind the rock on the right side lol. Anyway on my 4th attempt i was on the killing round and nearly got him down when a boomer took me out lol, so gutted. Then Tank joined and rapped it up after his 2nd attempt. The first only failing for the same bug that caught us out in the flawless when Crota jumped up on his feet and bit quick. Whilst loot wise, i never really gained much last night, the experiences and fun had was well worth it.
Still not seen the achievement come up though.
We even had a single run at Atheon last checkpoint on hard last night and did it first time with me in the team lol. And I got pulled into the Orbs everytime...3rd time I panicked though cos my FOIL ran out but with my Word and Tank with me we still got through it. I only revived twice Second time was cos I jumped right over the middle platform lol
A lot of fun had. Thanks guy's.

Interesting >>>> Destiny Loadout Manager !!!

Messing around with it at work I like it a lot more than the companion. Allows you to move un-equipped items directly between characters. If it works on the iPad its a game changer for me. Someone please try, the suspense at work is killng me.

7, Not FFS when one of us died.
I absolutely did on that first wipe I thought we were going to do it on our first attempt. Great team effort though. Tried to play it as cool as last night, treating it like any other raid run, but that disappearing sword and ogres had my stress levels up at the end. When the last sword bearer went down and I ran to pick it up, I don't think I took a breath until crota was down.
Its good playing it in the manner we did last night. Reminds me of all the first time raid experiences we've had to date. It would be good if they could link loot or xp drops to how many deaths you have in the team with flawless giving the ultimate loot.

Official Destiny companion app lets you do it..? Has done for ages.
Lets you move stuff between characters/vault, what you have equipped etc etc.
Works from anywhere and while your playing. It's weird walking around when you do it, and it pops up that you've found an exotic gun etc.
I havent found how the Official App lets you move things between characters. I've always had to go via the Vault. and the swithing between characters sending to vaults and then retrieveng from vault is un-necessarily tedious. This app has all 3 characters and vault in same view and you drag and drop or select and chose location of anything. I can take a gun from my Locks Inventry and equip it or store it on my Hunter directly. all in the same screen. I can shift everything i want around in less than a minute now rather than the clunk affair with the official App. My tuppence anyway and I havent tried this new one in-game yet. But from work on PC it seems to be just the ticket.Lets you move stuff between characters/vault, what you have equipped etc etc.

This has loadouts - so you can name a loadout e.g. CE lamps and then assign your 3 weapons (and maybe armour) to that loadout.
1 click and it changes them all for you...I assume.
Correct1 click and it changes them all for you...I assume.
SO ive got a saved loadout for Sunsinger & Voidwalker. Also other saved loadouts for Arc, Solar or Void burn etc..
Once i have the gear to swap around you can obviously setup your optimum raid gear/gun loudout etc....

Couldn't have put it any better. This has been a culmination of weeks and months of working and learning together as a team. Been sat in a deep dark hole this morning, reflecting on last night and a few things really stood out.

ouch!
Who's on tonight!? If there's a raid on I'd like to join in if possible, or if anyone wants help with nightfalls and weeklys then just send me an invite.
If not I might get stuck into iron banner to try and get my 3 exotic bounties done and work towards a 36 light chest...only needs ascendant shards to upgrade too...
