It seems everyone’s extras are messed up regardless of which edition you bought.
Everyone is missing the safety cars, chrome helmet, themes and livery pack. Some missing cars or money.
I got 3 duplicate cars and a bit more money than I should.
Hopefully PD will be sorting it all out as it’s clearly a big fk up

It seems to be a lot harder to recover from slides than previous games, no matter how much I feather the throttle when I’m sideways, the car doesn’t respond. Also the car selection is tiny compared to previous games.

I haven't got my copy of Sport yet, but GT5 and GT6 had lots of cars because most of them were slightly tidied up 'standard' models from previous GT games, and a few new high detail 'premium' models. If Sport has junked the standard car models so they are all high detail, I'm happy with that.

A few of us were on last night and trying to find the lobby that had been created was proving rather tedious.

There’s a box when creating it to say allow friends only then when you search there should be an option to show friends lobbies only.

Half way through row 5 of the driving school with all gold (so far) except the stopping challenges which I got gold in the Beta version but can only get silver so far.

Enjoying what I've played so far, just wish there was a Ferrari F50 as never played a "proper" driving game with an F50 before.

I've noticed that with my Logitech G29 wheel, it seems heavier than when playing GT6 but it's no problem at all.

That stuff is part of what put me off the PS3 GTs. You can't spend years making a game then half ass stuff like that.

I'm going to wait and see what the reviews are like. The beta didn't blow me away and the lack of variety in the cars is putting me off, we don't need a million different Civics as in older GTs but a selection of older/more interesting cars would be welcome.

TBH I'm still more tempted to stump up for a Xbox and Forza.

in the livery design, you get and option for double or triple paint chips ? - what does this do ? allow you to have multiple base colours when you select the car ?

Ive made a BMW M4 Team Understeer Engineering car!

Had to leave the PS4 on overnight to avoid losing unsaved progress when the servers were taken down. A local save option which backed up to the network would be handy!

i would think it would be double or significantly added to in the next 12-18 months though ...

Given that tracks like Spa and Monaco aren't in yet I think that's a fair comment.

I just hope they don't expect us to pay for them.

I think it is just a reference to remind you of the livery when choosing one.

I had the same problem, but even this morning it wouldn't reconnect. A quick browse on GTPlanet forum and people were saying you had to close the game and relaunch it to get it to connect! So in the end you lost progress any way.
I'm sure they will have to do something about this or its going to ps off a lot of people.
I highly suggest saving regularly, especially in the livery editor!

FFS. They've got to sort that. With disconnections and progress not carried over I've played most of the initial stages of the game twice.

I don't mind the lack of cars (too many modded Japanese cars in previous versions), but they should have kept a few TVRs.

And Le Sarthe, Spa, etc.

The AI and handling are improvements over GT6 ( was playing GT6 until yesterday's release with a G27 to see how they compare )

Not keen on the livery creator, no scales/grid overlays or layer grouping, making individual logos in game is a pain in the arse. Guess they are wanting people to create them and import them which is a pain as I dont use any illistrator or similar software.
