I look forward to double cash ending on it or finding a bunch to race with who are older than 12!I hate crashy lobbies usually but this race mode kinda works quite well - you just need to go in with the mentality that you will get punted but these cars take a fair whack before they turn round.
Last nights racing was some of the closest we’ve had in a long time - i know this is due to catchup and slipstream but when the top 7 are covered by less than 3tenths having all suffered with some form of crash during the race i think shows this race format works well.
I can imagine the fun increases with a good group but in general population lobbies i just cant get away with it yet, due to the 2x payout it just seems to be filled with plebs.
I dont mind a bit of paint rubbing and close racing, that adds to the fun... the lobbies ive been in so far just seem to be an exercise in pit manouvers and destruction derby style straight lining corners. Great if thats what your aiming for but not so great for me apparently.
Ill give it a try in a PH lobby at some point but will go back to transform lobbies for now, at least there is a chance of a clean/ fair race there still.

We had...10? of us racing all in the same crew colour last night and it was just mental. Being punted off/spun round and watching a group of 5/6/8 green cars up ahead all dicing for the lead knowing in a lap or two you'd be up with them made for great fun.
Yes you get the idiots just there to take people out (its always the rainbow livery) but most randoms I'v raced with have been pretty good

If my broadband decides to work ill join in, done a few more races this morning and found it to be much the same. I have had a couple of good races now at least in slightly better lobbies. Mrs Fraser seems to like the hotring races, she likes shouting at people (well at the tv) though so it suits her.Are you racing in modded hot rings or stock?

did everyone see the ORANGE "TRACK-TOR" on Top gear ?
Just started playing online and enjoying the races...only won one but have had some good and some bad (mainly due to the nascar races and when tracks narrow...some drivers just block them up...dont get it as some seem to be seasoned 400+ rating, but whatever).
So how do i join up with the PH races?
