Ah crap. Nightfall is Valus Ta'arc again with no burns just Angry, Lightswitch and Juggler
Weekly just has Lightswitch

Tedious

If you do this, I might (no promises) be tempted to do the same. If you fancy creating one at the same time, it might be fun to run through all the missions at the same time (running them all on hardest difficulty, obviously!). Can' be bothered to grind and level up another character on my own but, as a fireteam, it would be a good laugh.

The only things stopping me at the moment are that I'm not sure if I can bring myself to delete one of my current characters (also, where do you put all the weapons it is carrying to make the transition??!) and I seem to be spending more and more time on Battlefield these days...

Hmmmm. For once, I actually think I'm going to skip it this week.

I've got a great little cheese spot for this weekly. I'll be on tonight probably from 6 if anyone wants to join me.

I should be on tonight from about 7:30 if you want to run through Moog. It is tedious I agree; according to Bungie it has one of the lowest amount of completions of all the strikes. Needs must for a gjallahorn though!!

I'm undecided. At times like this when there's nothing to do it makes sense, although with new content around the corner having two of the same increases your chances at getting a full set of raid gear sooner.

My little bro might be getting a ps4 for his birthday next month. If he does, I might start the new alt to run alongside his. How about then? We could be three noobs together. If we set aside a destiny day we could smash through to level 20 pretty quickly, we could then go to the tower as a team, you and I could then equip all the spare armour we're got, go straight to level 28 before his eyes, then mock him incessantly for only being a 20bandit

Nightfall is a chore. Did it with Killz earlier and it was fun up till dickface, then it got boring. As a full team having a laugh, yes. Doing it for reward, no.

By then, we should have more vault space for the transition so, it makes sense to wait. But, you make a good point about raid gear when HoW arrives. Hmmmm, ask me again in 3 weeks!

I actually don't have much titan gear stored as I never fancied making one. I could always just delete and make another Hunter I suppose, which would make the whole endeavour less painful and put me in a better position to mock your brother hehe

laugh You don't need extra leverage to mock my brother, he's even easier to mock than me!!!!!!!

3 hunters? fk that. I'm really enjoying this hunter, and making a titan will bring an extra element to the game. If the game itself hasn't got enough variety then having 3 different alts will add to the enjoyment. It's just the griiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind to 20 I'm not up for, but as you say, if you're doing it alongside others (and drunk) it should take a good deal of the monotony out of it.

I think I shall do it. Be there, or be squaretongue out

ETA: I've not got loads of Titan stuff. A couple of exotics and a couple of legendaries. Most of us have carried, and been carried through raids in the quest for gear now, so shouldn't be a problem getting him raid ready in reasonable time.

It would still only be 2 Hunters, I like my Warlock too much to delete him!! I have so much Hunter gear, it would be a shame to delete half of it but, we shall see if I can persuade myself to make a Titan when the time comes...

Oh I see, delete a hunter and start afresh. I thought you meant lose your mighty warlock and replace with a third pansy hunter.

Remember me saying that my hunter was broken? ie jump wouldn't work, wouldn't go invisible when he was supposed to. Well funnily enough, as I've used the character more the faults seem to be fixing themselves. Coincidence? Must be.........

I had a theory on your 'broken' Hunter issues....Problem: invisibility wouldn't work. Reason: Gunslinger subclass equipped. Problem: Triple jump wouldn't work. Reason: Bladedancer subclass equipped.

I know you say otherwise but, we both know you're lying hehe Glad to hear that the 'real' problem has now righted itself thumbup

Might not be around this evening sadly (work getting in the way), but if I do get on I'll look you / Stimps / anyone who wants to do it up

Having now grabbed the 1st chest in Crota twice, I'm now just 2 shards and 1 exotic shard away from 32! So close.

Why not simply put the armour on your other hunter? Surely they have space for gear, maybe not for weapons.

I found fastest way to level 20 is not what you would do Specle, but play crucible. Even if you loose you are looking at minimum of 1800 Xperia plus better random rewards. I hit level 20 in something like 6-8 hours. Then hit the tower and equipped the gear from the vault and bosh level 28.

With the new DLC will be new story missions so the grind should be less.

Plus playing strikes instead of story has the possibility of better rewards and higher Xp than story missions. Possible to drop purple engram in strikes!

Also do the daily crucible and daily mission plus public events for the Xp bonus

I don't doubt that the crapcible is the best/quickest way to level up but, I wouldn't be doing it to level up fast, I would be doing it strictly for fun and the challenge of the early missions at the relevant level (or, just below on the harder levels)

When I levelled Baby Hunter, I just hit the bounties and vanguard strikes as soon as I was high enough and hit lvl 20 in a matter of days.

I should be back tomorrow for nightfall and raids if anyone is around.

I'm simply doing em for fun now as I have full raid gear on all three characters and have nowhere to put a fifth Giggyhorn.
