I've said it before, I'll say it again, get a proper squad together, PHers in last nights case and you become almost unstoppable.

I still don't care for Team Death Match though.

Agreed, particularly the bit about TDM – was struggling with that, and then faffed around for the first game of Rush trying to get the 350m L96 kill to discover that the map for the first pair of Mcomms on Metro is not that long – damn. Sorry Pexy for leaving abruptly last night, lost connection, and then Mrs Judge appeared, I think she may have the console rigged.

As for the PH server it is a real shame we can’t get more games on it, I have deliberately friended a few more of you so that I can send more invites next time we try to get it running. You will only get an invite from me if that is what I am trying to do. No meaningful suggestions as to game modes – I generally prefer normal ticket rush though! And would definitely like to organise a match verses another platoon.

Im liking Rush most at the momment so happy to see more of that in the rotation.

Sounds good, been a few years since I did some competive gaming, happy days counter-strike source ED matchs. Think we all need mikes though. I'm going to get really busy with work for 3 months but then until the spring I should have plenty of time, we could get our team onto a clan ladder etc.

'Rush only' seems to bring the punters in, since I set up the 'Girls! Girls! Girls! Caspian Rush Only' server its never been empty. Key to getting some more interest in the PH server is to make it more appealing to non PH'ers and for that you need a hook, maybe rush only on a couple of well liked maps for a while and see if that improves the usage

I'll also explore the options for a clan match. Got a feeling it'll be quite tricky to arrange, so will post up my findings on here for people to give their thoughts.

Yes, definitely. TyroneRanger/Turbodiesel’s server has to be one of the most popular out there, as he says it is always full, had my first match on there the other day where the defenders actually won, there must have been some very annoyed people on the other side.

Okay, I seem to have arranged a match for next Thursday at 8. They have suggested 10 v 10, which I have agreed to, but hopefully we can increase. We are setting up via the multiplayer on Battlelog and I’m our ‘leader’. If anyone who is interested can put themselves down on here I will then enter you on the battlelog, unless you can do it yourselves? If you look on my profile you will see it under multiplayer. Pexy may have to banned for this first one otherwise we will never get another game!

Cheers Judge, that's cheered me right up. Just finished a four month project and suffering from an exceptional hangover from last night! Got a 'down week' next week so can get some practice in and get a bluetooth headset.

Have the small matter of a second interview next weds though, only a case of presenting to a Divisional Director and his board - bricking it!

Armoured kill trailer looks awesome, think they're gonna have to prevent jihad vehicles otherwise it'll become silly/frustrating. The spectre looks like a whole lot of fun...

Might be an idea to get the team sorted out beforehand, in terms of who is going to be in which class etc. I'm happy to play whatever class/role we lack the most of/will be most useful.

I definitely know my place, I'll happily be the spotter and medic/ammo supplierwith a general spray and pray attitude. Also quite good at finding out where all the enemy are!

Plus Young, Judge and it'd be great to have the No_fck boys as well for the carnage they'll cause if the other team play tactics.

Okay have the three of you signed up so far, on the Battlelog look at Multiplayer, and then view matches, or at least thats what I think you do. The match is actually scheduled for 7.30 rather than 8 and will be on their server. Opposition are 1CE, the guy I arranged this with is now on my Battlelog friends list if anyone wants a shifty: Ned1981.

As for our team I think its only fair that whoever shouts first gets on the team. At the moment they have Metro and Grand Bazaar conquest selected as the matches, which don't play to my strengths, and these may inform our set ups.

Youngsyrs link has shown up quite a few clan match requests so I am sure organising another would be fairly easy if anyone wants to another on our server?

I'll try and be there, might need to book some time in for it! I have a horrible feeling the in-laws are down but maybe I'll suggest that they have a family night out together!
