Legendary drops are approx. 1 in 20, so keep trying.
If that is anything like the old coin-tossing conundrum, that presumably means that each time you play there is a 1 in 20 chance. Which sadly doesn't mean that if you do it 20 times it is a dead cert, unless the game is clever and does do that. CommanderJameson said:
I can rub out The Warrior in about 20-30 secs now (some high-RoF SMG plus The Bee), so it's just a case of being patient.
Takes me a number of minutes for me, despite having a caustic sniper rifle that does 17000-odd damage on criticals when my Amp shield is fully charged. Maybe I should concentrate on farming the Bee first.
Be careful who you play with online, there is a bug knocking around that is deleting characters !!

Crikey. Imagine having your character of, say, 60 hours play deleted! That would be pretty devastating. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-20136922

Yeah but according to that article the only people affected are those that are cheating and so ... well.... tough. You reap what you sow. This modern day culture of cheating on every game is beyond me. I mean every game that comes out basically comes with what is essentially infinite lives so why the need to cheat further???
There appears to be an entire generation who don't get that by cheating they are cheating themselves.
Don't see the problem myself cheats are getting there just deserts and that has to be a good thing. Right??
OK just re-read it. Not good it's affecting genuine players too. but it only goes to show what I said about cheats is true and another example of how stats padding whiney cheating ponces are ruining the fun for everyone.

Well, I ended up playing this game alongside someone who had hacked their save. They had a program on their PC that allowed them to change values on the save file. Has actually caused them lots of grief and I don't know why they did it.
I do hope his console wasn't actually hacked (I don't think it is, just the save). Saying that, I've died a few times since playing alongside him and my character has respawned every time.

Finally! Pretty pathetic example of one though - my character is Level 38 so a Level 27 example is a bit lame.
Edit: Having said that, it's reduced the time it takes to despatch the Warrior by at least 60%.
Are you on playthrough 1? Don't bother farming the conference call, it becomes useless by the time you get to the Southern Shelf in P2.Edit: Having said that, it's reduced the time it takes to despatch the Warrior by at least 60%.

Yep, that is pretty pathetic. The level 50 one comes with 20,000ish shield, recharge delay of under 2 seconds and a very high recharge rate. It also dishes out a whopping 50,000dmg bonus per shot. As mentioned above, do not bother farming anything until you hit level 50, then go nuts and farm whatever you want. I've had enough of farming now. It's getting very boring. I never did get Conference Call, but I did get a few guns I like...
Reasonable damage for the level, good reload speed, nice big mag, but the killer is a fast fire rate that is full auto if you keep the mouse button held down or semi-auto if you just tap the mouse. More versatile than burst fire.
Good damage multiple but does chew up 4 ammo each time you pull the trigger.
Reasonable damage for the Level, good fire rate.
There are more damaging rocket launchers around at Level 34, but the fire rate and magazine size mean you can really pound away with it if you have the ammo. Reload speed is ok too.
Yay for me. Finally completed the Hyperion Circle of Slaughter round 5 last night. Rounds 1-4 piece of piss. Been attempting r5 the last few evenings and have died soooo many times. bd constructors and their nukes.
Went in there with nearly 600k, down to 200k now due to respawn costs. Final successful run, ended up running out of SMG, Missile and Sniper ammo even with fully upgraded capacity and a +58% missile and sniper ammo relic. Killed the last constructor with a Torgue explosive pistol (eventually ).....
Got this, but a corrosive version:
It's st. Sold it.
Annoyingly, can only hold 99 Eridium so what to do with it now? Can I give it to my other chars?

I bought the original Borderlands but never really got into it.
Bought the second one because of the positive reviews but got bored after a couple of hours, found it really difficult to survive with the low level guns.
After reading this thread a couple of weeks ago, I thought I'd give it another go and am glad I did! I'm now on level 28 playing as a Commando and I can't put the game down, spend at least a couple of hours each night trying to battle my way through.
Never really been into these sorts of games, I've always preferred GTA style games (recently finished Sleeping Dogs, thought that was amazing) but this game is really unique. It's a shame about the level 50 cap, not sure what you would want to do after that, killing enemies without getting any XP might be a bit boring.

Guys, there is a new update on Steam for the PC version
DO NOT INSTALL IT!
Unfortunately I had auto-updates turned on, so it's too late for me. But they have nerfed The Bee shield as feared.
Patch notes:
- Fixed fast travel stations from downloadable content sometimes disappearing when loading a saved game.
- Fixed an issue where players could occasionally be unable to connect to one another if one of them had recently been in DLC that the other doesn't have.
- Fixed an issue where players were sometimes unable to pick items up after another player had bulk-picked-up a nearby item.
- Fixed a bug in the inventory UI when quickly scrolling to the bottom of a list using the mouse wheel.
- Improved PhysX fluid rendering quality at high resolutions.
- Improved NVIDIA 3D Vision integration.
- Fixed the "Inverted reverse steering" option not working for clients in a multiplayer game.
- Fixed the player's backpack sort setting not persisting.
- Fixed an issue causing players to sometimes crash or freeze after killing Master Gee in the Captain Scarlett DLC.
- Fixed challenges showing inaccurate completion amounts for area-specific challenges.
- Fixed a bug where the player's active mission would sometimes fall back to main-game missions when completing other missions in DLC areas.
- Fixed a bug that could cause players to lose mission rewards that they had not claimed when switching between Normal mode and True Vault Hunter mode.
- Added a confirmation dialog when opening the golden chest in Sanctuary.
- Fixed Arid Nexus Badlands showing an undiscovered challenge that was not attainable.
- Restored some lost progress to players who have had their profiles reset. To ensure you are credited for as much progress as possible, please load your character, select "Continue" on the Main Menu, and then "Save and Quit" after you enter the world. Repeat this process for each character in your character list.
- Fixed the Mechromancer's Anarchy skill sometimes losing stacks incorrectly for multiplayer clients.
- Fixed a bug causing players to sometimes get stuck zoomed in when in "Fight for Your Life" mode.
- Fixed challenge "For The Hoard!" to work properly after resetting challenges.
- Fixed a bug that could sometimes cause players' skill points to be reset when loading their character.
- Fixed a bug that could cause enemies and missions to be locked to an incorrect level.
- Fixed bug causing Tediore reloads to get Amplify shield damage bonuses for each round remaining in the clip.
- Amplify damage from Amplify Shields is now divided among all projectiles fired from a single shot.
- Balance adjustments to "The Bee":
+ Increased Recharge Delay
+ Significantly increased Recharge Rate
+ Reduced Amplify damage
- DLC raid bosses no longer drop Seraph crystals in Normal Mode.
- Reduced level of DLC raid bosses in Normal Mode.
- Fixed issue resulting in infinite leveling exploit with Fleshstick.

But I liked being able to kill the Warrior in 30 secs. Anyway, you didn't have to use The Bee if you didn't want to. They could have just nerfed it for co-op play and let you keep it for solo.
