Hey Pazz - are you going to give HC a go on MW2?

I'm loving HC Kill Confirmed and actually getting decent scores using the loadout from that ace video you shared above. Seem to be ranking up way quicker too!

I'm also pleased that MW3 is so much of a run & gun game. Hardly seen any camping compared to MW2.

few games today has pissed me off as said previous in the thread, kill some one get killed, kill some one get killed about 12 times in a row at least and its all doing to when spawning, doesnt give you a leg to stand one, think im only going to prestige once in this game too as its old hat, like it better than BOPS though but still does have some annoying things about it like the CARBON MAP its a nightmare

I have no interest HC at all tbh mate, as it stands core kill confirmed is working well. Might try it for couple but it'll only take a few crappy deaths before I throw my dummy out. Looking on getting a decent Win Streak stat, currently it's only around 9 but I know us lot can get 25+ win streak easily. The only problem with that is once a team is beaten down it's a fresh bunch straight away in the lobby who could then give you a wholloping.

Loving the enemy feedback too, you can hear them trying their best not to give you the satisfaction of hearing them cry. At one point last night almost the whole was talking (cursing) about me "fkn tw@t got me too, how is that fk possible", lmao.

Pazhow do you manage to go to ground so quickly? I saw you doing it lastnight. It really seems to work wonders. I have had it done to me and it's very hard to return acurate fire as a) the recoil of you gun is making it rise and b) the hits the guy shooting at you is getting is also forcing your aim up.

Change the controller set up. I think there's one that allows you to go prone with R3.

Tactical is the one you want, IIRC.

My only gripe with this setup is the speed at which people can spin round on their stomach. If I strafe to their side they shouldn't be able to turn while prone quick enough to kill me

Very true, I do however have many blonde moments where I've gone on me belly and can't turn at all because of objects around me. Yeh Chunty, it's as VeeTEC says, have your pad layout set as Tactical. Takes a little getting used to at first but well worth it. If you seen my own vid posted a few pages back you'll see I do it all the time, probably way way too much, I do it even when I blatantly don't need to do it... just habit.

Cheers lad i will give it a go. I noticed saturday night that you spend most of you time going prone then standing up. Its a good tactic and no different to people that seems to move side to side when shooting at you. I will try it, i dont knife much anyway.

Also tries the pp90 out in anger yesterday after the comments you made on saturday night. What a gun! seems IW have finally understood that SMG are crap at ranghe and it shows with this gun (and the P90) but still its pretty good! used it with the specialist setup as per the Woody vid you posted. Worked REALLY well on HC S&D. I even manged to kill Johna a few times! You do have to find a way to get around the back of them though. But with silencer and kick i manged to get three of them with 1 clip. Going to try it with silencer and red dot and then with extended mags i think. Not really used it much in core yet.

Has anyone else tried the specialist setup? I have it setup with a scar-l (silencer and extended mags), as well as the PP90, and managed to have a good run on domination last night. However even when you have all the perks it dosen't seem to do that much extra! Its like its all nice to have rather than turning you into a killing machine. Or maybe im just cr*p! lol

What is everyone else running as kill streaks? Seems that unless you are good assult i pretty hard to get the kills like in MW2 (or even Black Ops)!

Good stuff mate, glad your liking that setup. Both UMP & PP90 I try and run Attachments to have Silencer & Rapid Fire, that way people die a little easier almost giving you stopping power.

Managed to get the Gold Camo for the UMP & Prestiged last night too. Wahoo.

Did that give you new challenges? I assume all the regular gun challenges (Is there Prestige gun challenges like MW2) reset?

You have the challenges that come under "Prestige" i.e. kill 50 people with AC130. You then have challenges for the weapons. These aren't unlocked as such but are carried over for example my 1200 kills on the ACR are carried over into a challenge called ACR Veteran.

Although I will stick with it. I really want to carry that through with me when I prestige, But the ACR is so easy to use. Decisions decisions...

I have never got on with the AK like you have but have used it a few times and it doesn't feel like it used to. I love the ACR, but I loved it in MW2.

Stiking with the Scar-L until I unlock the ACR. Mate of mine swears by the AK47 with silencer but never got on with it myself.

What weapon specialisation are you guys using? I've stuck with impact for some extra penetration through wall's etc, are any of the others any good? Dont really worry about kick or sway as I'm fairly accurate TBH.

I only tend to use attachment, I don't care much for the others. I always have a silencer, I hate showing up on the map. I tend to use Specialist strike packages with my perks set as Blind Eye, Hard Line, Dead Silence/Marksman and then have:-
1 Kill Streak - Assassin
3 Streak - Slight of Hand
5 Streak - Scavenger
7 all perks

It's how I got my MOAB.

Hmmm Jake that sounds very similar to my setup. I like the SCAR-L with silencer and extended mags. Silencer for the same reason as you and extended mags for the initial extra amo and the added spray-ability. The sights are really good on the SCAR so no need for red dot (dont like the ACR sights for example).

I did notice you 2 jumping in, obviously would have got you in when room was available. I remember them bloody noobs ye bugger , I do generally like to send a polite message over to fellow PH'ers when I take one for the team
