Had a quick go on the Beta this morning, won't spoil it for anyone, but I will say I liked it!

Installed the PC beta this morning and had a quick 15 mins, love the way it handles and the graphics are epic. Got a direct x error which made it crash but hopefully the 1070 i've got on order will sort that out!

Got my PS4 code this morning but I'm at work.

Stupid work day, hurry up and finish already!

However entirely coincidentally I'll be "working from home" tomorrow.

I have the PlayStation app on my phone put in the code select download and it should all be ready when I get home.

Same, my status on the app has changed from downloading to playable. All ready to go, just need to find time to actually have a go.

So for those who have played it, come on spill. What's in like in terms of classes, pace, strategic options etc. Is it BF or yet another CoD clone?

Hey – got to give it a go! After being a complete disaster on 3, I have managed quite a few kills on 4 although in fairness that’s only thanks to the laser guided missile, where flying skills are not required, you can count my air to air kills on one hand. Hoping that a laser guidance system will be an upgrade on BF1.
Not sure about this beta map, but am enjoying the game. Trying something different with each match to see what suits me. Struggled to get the charge working but have that sorted now.
Anyone on the PS4 have any idea how to draw your sword whilst on horseback, or is it that an upgrade?

I haven't played enough to give a full assessment and I'm finding the beta map quite limiting in terms of what I can do (probably due to a lack of familiarity) but it's a positive so far. Any complaints I have are due to it accurately reflecting things and my lack of skill rather and issues with the game.

Buildings and the general environment don't respond to attack as much as I expected but there seems to be a decent difference between the classes and the pace is quite slow as you'd expect from that era but fairly intensive in the built-up areas. I think it will play well on a city map but then they always tend to be my favourites.

A few glitches here and there but not as many as I'd expect on a BF beta
