I've never played as a so can't offer an objective view, but hunters are the best class *if* you've got a delicate hand. They are weaker (the get 20 mele kills in the crucible is difficult) but better at range (GG) and generally much much quicker. My 2 are set up for max agility with little armour as I can usually scarper if the going gets tough. I find my Warlock too cumbersome and that jump a bit of a joke.
Depends on weapons and the burns, but a level 32 PoE should take about 40 minutes or so. They really should add matchmaking to that as well as the level 28 one.
Yep, there are some incredible vids from beating Skolas last week. Solar burn meant that the G-horn just wrecked him in seconds. We tried that yesterday but it didn't touch him, even with weapons of light. It is arc burn this week and the best method was Patience and Time (365) to stun lock him in place. It is possible to get his health down to below 50% within 30 seconds. It then gets hairy.

Titans are probably my favourite for Crucible, especially if you are looking to earn a load of points from bounties.
For the Multikill bounty, I play Control and use my smash super (don't remember the real name for it - the one that isn't the bubble). There will often be multiple enemies all around a flag and you can run in and take them all out with one hit.
For the Postmortem bounty, I use the bubble super with the sticky grenades and equip Armamentarium, so you have two of them. Whenever I am about to be killed, I lob some grenades at people which go off after I die and you get the points.

We so...nearly...did...it! Got him down to less than 1/3 health and cleared the first set of mines. The curse was the issue as the immunity prevented us from passing it between ourselves. The plan was to allow the curse to kill one of us in a safe spot, get the revive and it should start again, giving us 30 seconds to finish him off. The problem was the next set of mines spawned at the far side so we couldn't reach it in time. We ended up calling it a night but will be able to finish it on Friday with a third.
I just *know* that there will be a couple of vids by the weekend of this being solo'd
I need to do a couple of level 35s at some point. Seen a video where 3 x 4th Horsemans and a weapons of light pretty much destroyed him before the first mines.....might be worth a try I just *know* that there will be a couple of vids by the weekend of this being solo'd

Good old Fist of Havoc and yes, it's excellent at taking out several enemies at once and I've been on the receiving end on more than one occasion whilst stoutly defending a flag under my bubble (which I'm forced to use at the moment because of the need for the void grenade)Have played Control almost exclusively so far, but wouldn't mind a crack at the 3 v 3 mode (Clash / Rumble is it?) with a known fireteam at some point if anyone wants a go. Good practice for Trials of O too, although that may be a step too far with my skill level
Not just Hunters that rack up easy kills in the Crucible...

I fancy giving the 35 a go tonight, I think patience and time and weapons of light should be helpful.
Also an Arc rocket for taking out ADS in groups.
Couple of vids of people making it easy.

Looks like 4 horsemen is also handy

From that second vid I would say it's the Arc Jolders that are doing most of the damage?
I've got an Arc Swarm that I'll need to ascend, that's roughly equivalent to a Jolders.
From the first vid it seems that Arc snipers are the best for DPS - the Arc Efrideet's was doing 9,000 per crit, the rocket launcher was only doing 9,000 + 2,000 pet hit.

I, along with a couple of friends tried the 34 PoE last night andgot all the way to the end realitively quickly (Only one of us is 34), however the end boss this week is insane! Ended up rage quitting after round after round of trying to kill the 'Eye' and failing....try again next week methinks
P+T was doing 7-8k per headshot. It wasn't an issue getting him down to well below 50% health using it with only 2 of us.
It is the spawning adds (from behind) and the sniper vandals that are the problem. You really need 3 people- 1 to take out the adds so that getting to the other mines is easy.

As usual, youtube is making it all look very easy!! Most teams seem to concentrate only on killing Skolas and, quite a few get lucky with the first mine spawning in that corner anyway. I think some luck is needed to avoid getting killed by the adds but, it certainly looks very do-able.It is the spawning adds (from behind) and the sniper vandals that are the problem. I'll be ascending my P & T for this, and possibly my LDR and Thunderlord as an alternative loadout.

I've not seen any vids but I can imagine- I did see the G-horn vids from last week!
We found Thunderlord a bit jumpy but perhaps we were too far away from him. Definitely seems do-able though. Looking forward to it!
It looks a lot more difficult this week (not that I was able to run it last week). This is a video of one of the Tier 1 guys, Giggle Monster, running it:We found Thunderlord a bit jumpy but perhaps we were too far away from him. Definitely seems do-able though. Looking forward to it!

It's going to need a lot of communication on the sharing of the de-buff.
Wow, that was frustrating! No real difficulty getting to Skolas on lvl 35 but, we just couldn't get it done. Came close a few times but, frustration got the better of us in the end (after a good hour of 'just one last try') Critical hits are essential but, with all his teleporting, that is easier said than done
I think the plan is to try again tonight with the 4th Horseman method and see if that is any more effective. Taking forever to upgrade it though, still 3 damage bubbles left to go! (ETA: Xur selling shotgun telemetry so, that'll help )
