Nice update - some easy stuff like the weekly challenges and some hard stuff like the master license.
Taken me most of my day off today and still got quite a bit left to do.
Definitely worth picking it up again for a play if you are a lapsed player (especially as Forza turned out a bit crap!)

I am looking forward to this update, and building a few custom 190e's!
Judging by your username think you'll enjoy the Evo II! I am looking forward to this update, and building a few custom 190e's!
This update is really quite nice. It’s added quite a lot of content. I haven’t played in a while, but it knocks Forza Motorsport out of the park. I can’t see me going back to that any time soon.

People like to put down Polyphony.. but you can't argue their commitment to GT. It has always got good support long after release.
I agree, always been a fan of this series (when it's not online), my only criticism is really about me not having enough free time to grind away Stayed up way too late last night for the first time in ages playing this again. B_Tank88 said:

But it's taken SO LONG to get to this point. 18 months to get proper 4 player split-screen! Many of these things that they've been releasing in all these updates, many of us thought were going to be part of the original release. To me it seems like they released half the game, and held back the rest of the content to drip feed to us as updates over X months or years in the hope that we'd then say exactly the above, that they're great for supporting the game and community for so long.
If they can implement Sophy 2.0 in custom races, they'll hit a home run. The races I've completed so far are a marked improvement on the standard AI, albeit they're too short!
For example, it would be great to do a custom race at LeMans with a decent amount of laps and mandatory pit stops (or Spa, Suzuka etc).

Look at the size and scope of the game on day 1. It stood up to most comparisons. Many people won't have completed the content that was there at the begining. Since then, they've rolled out numerous additional features, cars and tracks for no additional cost, where other games rinse you for DLC.
They give you freebies every day just for playing and you can rent cars to enter all the events so you don't have to spend credits to partake.
And all they get is moaning.
Spec II update is a cracker. First thing I did was buy a white LFA at an attainable 1.5m - and its colour palette is more diverse than you think! They've got the sound spot on IMO. Cockpit view is superb with great attention to detail within the gauge cluster.
Tried some short races around Tsukuba and Suzuka with the Sophie AI. The AI seem to be less "on rails", a bit more aggressive and noticed a few spins too.
Lake Louise is a nice addition. Never really enjoyed the gravel tracks but the snow is definitely more fun.

Seriously, 4 player split screen was the feature everyone wanted? Try Mario Kart.

Agreed, GT7 today is a much better game than what was initially released. Fair play to Polyphony for continually improving and listening to feedback. The only amount I've spent on the game is the initial purchase and still got plenty of content to get through with more to come at no extra cost.Look at the size and scope of the game on day 1. Certainly am!
Great pictures, thought the 2nd one was an actual image! GT7 when it was initially released was pretty poor in comparison to the previous instalments in the series. In fact I would say it was the worst (full game) of the series so far, with far fewer cars, fewer tracks, worse "AI" drivers and a worse in-game economy. Since then the releases have just got it back to whether it should have been when it was released.
I agree though, if they can roll out SophyAI across the whole game then that's going to be pretty special (even if the in-game economy is still st); in fact with Sophy and VR2 it'll be close to being the best of the series. However it's disappointing it's taken 18 months since release to get here.
