Brilliant, thanks. Just need to figure out clutch shifting now.. Previously I've just used manual with no clutch but a stint on the PH cycled production lobby the other night made it quite clear I need to raise my game.
If you want some practice using clutch, some of us will be on tonight testing probably. You're more than welcome to join. My gamertag is Dudemau5

Managed a 1:36.271 in an A575 Scirocco R (Fattys tune)
But I was pushing everything I could out of it, and I had engine damage.
ETA: 1:36.015
Cheers mate, I was doing the same thing by over revving on the entry, adjusting the gearing slightly should sort that out. I thought it was just me. But I was pushing everything I could out of it, and I had engine damage.
ETA: 1:36.015
Badger, if you set the controller up with button A as the clutch you can carry on as you are, just press the two buttons together and use the roll technique with your thumb for changing up.
ETA: Liam, what track were you doing?

As for clutch, I use LB.. I can't use it when it's set to A.

Out of interest, who has the Scirocco R and who doesn't?
I was thinking of tracks to run last night and came up with a 'World Tour' idea, starting in Germany on the Nurburgring GP, through Europe, into America and then Japan and back to Germany to finish on the Nordschleife.
We could do 9 races, The 'Ring GP, Hockenheim, Catalunya, Silverstone, Sebring, Laguna Seca, Suzuka, Twin Ring Motegi and back to the 'Ring. Or would that be too many?
Any thoughts?

Also I think Inifineon should be on the list, absolutely cracking circuit IMO but definitely agree with keeping the others, a nice even 10 sounds good

We need more of these!I was chucking a couple of tunes around Laguna Seca last night, I managed to get a GT and an R around there within .1 of a second of each other doing consistent 1:36.0s. I'll gift out the pair later to anyone who would like to try them.
I completely forgot about Infineon.

You don’t happen to know what the upgrades were on that do you? I had a build for each at A575 and both were consistently low 1:36s, managed to get into the high 1:35s but couldn’t replicate it after one lucky lap!I was chucking a couple of tunes around Laguna Seca last night, I managed to get a GT and an R around there within .1 of a second of each other doing consistent 1:36.0s. I'll try out those tunes if you want me to.
