This week will be a single lap quali in champ (overall) order. GW 1st out followed by flip etc.

Start time for change time will be 2am. With time on its fastest setting.

New tv arrives tomorrow. With mrs a help might be set for Sunday so I can see where in going

Projector is so dark, bulb on last legs it's really tough.

If set up, think I'll run in 3d too!

Would love to try it in 3d but can't justify a 3dtv just for gt5.

5 for mx5
4 for mins (yes tyre rule applies)

Flip you can get one so cheap I've got an active 3d 1080p led 42" coming cost me 389 and it's v samsung just it's an E range not a F. F is current year, E is last year. I've seen my 51" plasma for 499 because it's a D and therefore 2 years old we paid four figs 2 years ago.

If Sunday runs as per my test then it'll get light on the out lap and dark towards the end of hot lap.

During the race we could drive over the equivalent of 3 night/days

Does the time start changing at the start of qualy, or the start of the race? Thankfully the Mazda is not so fast you out-run your headlights. Tackling the run from Lauda-links down to the Karussell at 200mph in the dark is intense to say the least. I suspect the TV/PS3 doesn't give the dynamic range that you'd get from your eyes - the same issue with a camera means this video looks utterly bonkers - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiDMhLWWWKc

Alright guys, sorry i havent been around recently. Feel like i've pretty much worn out my enthusiasm for GT5. Been pretty busy the last few months, and obviously GTA5 is out now so that'll be taking up all my gaming time.

Once GT6 is out i will be back on a weekly basis. From looking at the news on GTP it looks like it'll be a fantastic game, hopefully there'll be some nice online features for us to use.

Looking forward to GTA5 going online next week, should be interesting...
