Laptimes at Le Mans are around 5mins.
It's set on the server at 20mins, if you go out you'll be able to do 3 or 4 timed laps, just treat it like a big Superpole. The track should be fairly clear.
As for the lights - get the brighter headlights patch.

Don't worry mate, the race fubar'd and finished after three laps - I came third!
That one's a non championship race, guess we'll have to revisit.

I am not sure if custom tracks work quite right when we have league races on a server.

As mentioned since we had to reset-restart the race it lost it's custom race settings and only did a 3 lap race
It's related to the 24hr aspect of all 4 versions, Day/Night/Dawn/Dusk.
I didn't know that, it needs a fix to make it work for 60 mins on one version.
I'll email Sammie and ask if he can set the race laps to 15 (60/4) and try again Thursday.

I guess that due to changing the .GDB's to fit a 24hour race the number of laps are removed in these .gdb's..
edit with notepad the daytime track ie: dusk, dawn, night or day .gdb and add laps in this line: RaceLaps =
to how much you need ie; 23 for 1hour 30mins (90mins devided by 4 min's) in dusk or dawn
remember!! if you later do a full 24h-lemans to edit it back to RaceLaps =

Cool.
Worried about why mine crashed though! Was running fine until about 2 mins in then it all just locked up!!

Hmm I did that going into Indianapolis on the first lap, got distracted by an NGT on the inside of the track and only remembered to hit the brakes at the 100m board. Impact with the tyre wall completely broke my car and I had to retire

If you qualify in p6 or higher, you can't see the lights as they are back in line with row 4 on the grid!!
From second on the grid (later on when we did a few 1-make races) I could see the lights by looking left (V I think). The lights seemed to be directly next to pole...
