46.137 was my final time on the last challenge by the way, needed to put in some more lap time i feel but still not
sure i would have got as low as you guys

Had 3 untidy laps in the R8 to start this off and get the ball rolling..

Also, on my second lap in a mild tuned audi S4, B 699 with full race tyres i got a 1.38.601, so the R8
dropped to class B may not be the leader of the pack here as i imagined.

Not sure if i am reading your post in the wrong way or not, but the MS points have nothing to do directly with Forza.You add them and pay for them online and this allows you to use those points to buy full arcade games and any other addon content that games manufacturers charge for.The card i use to pay for xbox live is just debited when i add MS points, you can choose how many you want to add.

As for U class cars, again, not sure if you realised that quite a few of the cars tuned up can become U class.When you tune and add bits to a car, the class changes, so a D class standard car for example could become a B or A class, a B class could become an A or S class etc etc.You may have realised that anyway, but better to check innit Either that or you simply meant that as you have only just started the game?, not many U class cars are available yet.

Ahhhh, so you can tune cars up in arcade / free run mode aswell? didnt realis i could do that... how do i do it? have a feeling that without some tweeks i shall be lagging further behind than i was, shich doesnt bode well for me. and i also meant that i didnt have many u class cars either, so it was my poor ability top put things across that didnt help.

Not sure how much you know and don't know mate...but here goes..

The only way you can, for example, buy a Golf and turn it from a standard class car and then upgrade and upgrade and upgrade it until it becomes a possible 4WD fire spitting monster (which will beat standard Ferraris etc), is to win money! I assume you know how to buy parts for cars etc?
You win money and cars by playing through the career in single player mode and can also buy and sell cars on the auction house and purchase cars directly from the manufacturers listed in the game.As time goes on in single player mode you also get discounts on many of these cars and upgrades etc.

In arcade free run mode, or in fact any mode online or practice laps etc (but not time trial mode as that has set cars to use), all you need to do is highlight the icon shaped like a house when you choose your car instead of the D/C/B/A/S/U/R1 etc icons and so long as no restrictions have been placed in any online races (sometimes the host of a game can stop people using tuned cars etc), the cars you personally have tuned/painted will be available for you to use.

As this time trial track we are doing will now involve anything by Audi, you could either go to the audi showroom, buy one and tune it to a 700 rated B class car, or you could buy an audi that is already a B class car as standard and try that.You could also search on the auction for a B class audi as it may cost less if you win or use the buy it now options.Or, if you are totaly screwed of course at this early stage i could gift you one over just to play with

The thing to remember though with classes of cars is that it is often better to pick a lower class car and tune it up to the class you want.This way you can add in things like spoilers for downforce, slick tyres for grip, weight reduction, shocks, turbos etc etc.You will often find that a factory spec car in a class, like the ones you can just buy and leave untouched, will be beaten by a lower class car which has been tuned up to that higher class.it's all a balancing act though as adding things like slick tyres to any car can make the cars rating leap up 30 or 40 points, and that may be enough to take it out of the B class 700 limit and then make it a 730 or 740 class car and that means it's now in the A catagory.See what i mean?
Things like shocks and springs only add a few points, things like cams and massive turbos can add heaps of points, so you need to get as close to the top of the class rating as you can without going into the next class.

Another example of how the classes work would be to explain how i just took my Audi S4 which was an S class car and dropped it down to a B class car to use in this time trial.How? I just went to the upgrade menu and removed a few upgrades i had installed earlier or downgraded them for cheaper ones.If i removed the full race exhaust for example and just went for a sports back box, the cars rating dropped down, i did the same for the cams and it dropped again...in the end it was running less BHP, more weight but was now a B class.If i wanted to put it back to S class though, all i need do is add back on the bits i just removed, i wouldn't need to buy them again as i didn't sell them, they are just on the floor in my virtual garage if you see what i mean : p

If you want to see what class and rating your car will have if you want to purchase upgrades, all you do is look at an upgrade you are interested in and before you buy, it shows in the corner of the screen what that will make your car become class and ratings wise should you purchase.It also shows the benefits for performance etc if you press one of the buttons to change the menu.

Worth a read of things like this tbh to explain it..or the manual maybe? Never opened mine so no idea what's in it tbh

Didn't have much time to get to grips with the last time trial, U class isn't really my thing. Now B class that's one I love. My insane 500bhp+ TT ate it up with loads more to give. Should be 1.32's with a bit more tweaking.

Been awhile since I last set my wireless up. From what I can remember I had to get my wep encryption from my router(netgear) and put it into the xbox wireless menu along with my isp user name/password, everything else was automatic.

Lossa, that depends on the type of router you have; i suggest consulting your router manual, or Googling the make and model for some answers.
