I don't know how many cores I have. It's said 99 on the display for a while now.
My new robot is the best companion. Because bullet sponge....
Yes i definately wished i had used the suit sooner rather than level 30 and having 25-30 cores! Cant use them fast enough now! I think i will have to track down the legs of the X-01 suit though to finish it off.....My new robot is the best companion. Because bullet sponge....
... i can actually see me renting this for a few more months, i should really but it
Level 80 now, don't use power armour at all, only used it once very early on with the deathclaw and the minigun.
Must have over 100 cores and 10 complete suits, find them quite restrictive and cumbersome, may use them once I get a jetpac
As to companion I love Ada's firepower and carrying capacity, just find her bloody annoying when she gets stuck in a room trying the take a straight line to where you are and you have to go back and get her, at least Dogmeat has a brain.

Power Armour locations - http://www.gosunoob.com/fallout-4/power-armor-loca... of course the higher level you are and if you have completed the main quest you can get more armour spawns at newly set up road blocks like this one.I'm liking a more mashed up version though.

Cheers for that, think ill try and hunt down the rest of the X-01 tonight as i want to use it before i complete the game! I think im level 34-35 at the moment im not sureWell, I think I have finally got my issues with 21:9 aspect ratio (3440x1440) sorted.
It required Flawless Widescreen + this mod + this ini file tweak. What a palaver!
Edit: Sadly it doesn't fix the "rain on the visor" effect when in Power Armour though. So still work to be done there.

I have taken some of that last night (for obvious reasons).
I was short of aluminium, building robots has not helped this.
Also, I may have seen a (useful) bug. I was undetected and looking down a sniper scope at a robot. The game gave me the option to hack it - from about 50m away.....
....handy.
It's a feature, introduced in update 1.3 apparently. And yes, incredibly useful. If I'd taken a short scope rather than the biggest one I reckon it might be possible to do the whole DLC without shooting...I was short of aluminium, building robots has not helped this.

I don't use power armour much, as I run out of aluminium repairing the thing all the time. I should probably learn to dodge...I'm finished. Not a single mission outstanding. I don't even get Radiant missions. DLC was fun, and I'm now wandering around with a top-of-the-range Protectron with dual gatling lasers. Its fun to walk into those early places that gave you such trouble like Super Duper Marts and the like and just send him in.
Sided with the Institute in the end, though i hadn't planned to. Walked into the Railroad HQ with the Expermimental MIRV and just fired about 5 rounds down the stairs into the main area. Indoor multiple nuke detonations - pretty, and pretty devastating! I turned on The Brotherhood first though; they are such a bunch of tools.
What I don't understand is that I never really had choices for siding with the Minutemen. I only ever got radiant quests from the main guy. Now they've stopped as well.
Now I'm bored. I'd rather all the factions were still around, and I was unfriendly with them all - it would at least mean I have something to do.
You know what I'd like to see now? Big attacks on my settlements. I mean waves of attackers. 4 raiders really isn't stretching my defences at all. I want it to be a possibility that I lose an entire settlement. With my average defence being a missile and a heavy laser turret on every corner plus more on the main approaches, there just isn't any jeopardy. I want 10 behemoths and 20 tooled-up super-mutants to attack.
Kingsport Lighthouse is fun. I think its that place. I've built a two-storey Missile Tower and because of the elevation it can reach the road below. The Gunners seem to wander along there every now and then. Its constantly busy!
