Finally finished the Elder Cipher - interesting story there, Jase, Penguin and I downed Qodron, the Cypher popped up (for both Jase and I, confirming the kill had registered), then we all died and got booted back to the airlock to do the whole thing again. Grr.
Anyway, I opted for the Lord of Wolves once we'd beaten Qodron, and it's an odd thing, isn't it? It feels like a really high-impact, low-range pulse rifle in some regards and it absolutely tears through majors. Nevertheless, I was asking myself why I'd use it over a legendary shotgun, but then I noticed I had ammo reserves of 244 rounds  which is faintly ridiculous, and the buff for allies to recover would be very useful in group activities. It also pairs very nicely with The Ram; up close and personal, take down several enemies in quick succession, pop a melee hit to regen health, repeat until everythings dead and there's not a scratch on you.
So, yesh, it's an oddity. Bloody good fun though.

Slightly random observation, but I was checking out my bungie.net profile and noticed some slightly duff maths. Now, I'm aware the tracker can be a bit inconsistent with what it regards as completions - I know I've done a few games where I've joined at Atheon/Crota CP and that hasn't been counted, and conversely I've done the whole raid and skipped out at the boss, which also doesn't count.
Apparently I have 39 Raid completions in total, despite the same page also showing 15 clearances against VoG and 32 against Crota's End. By my reckoning, that should be 47 completions, not sure where the other 8 have disappeared to!

Ask and ye shall receive. Sadly not Found Verdict but I did pick up Hezen Vengence from the VoG run yesterday and another Truth, so it seems that my lack of rocket launcher drops has ended (I'll be expecting to get a Gjally any day now
)
Nice to see that Rubinho got a Fatebringer too![thumbup](/inc/images/thumbup.gif)
I'm gonna cut my warlock loose and start another titan I think since I have enough gear to get him / her to 32 as soon as they are maxed - much more useful for nightfalls / raids in general and for sharing gear with the other one of course.
Sorry warlock old mate, but your Destiny sand timer has just run out

Interesting that your ditching your Warlock. I'm about to delete my 2nd Titan to start a Warlock so I have one of each character. Mainly because I want to try one out and I have a decent stockpile of legendary armour, cores and exotics.
Had a productive week all in even though I concentrated on bounties, managed to get my shiny new Ghorn maxed, it really is a game changer with bosses! Hoping to get some time online later, will be up for a 34 PoE if anyone fancies it?

Just never got on with the warlock, never really clicked with me for some reason. I also don't have a lot of warlock gear and only one exotic helmet so it would be a bit of not-very-enjoyable grind to get him up to 32 where he can be useful and not just used for grabbing the chest from the Abyss each week like he is nowMust remember to get all the good stuff off him BEFORE deleting

Good raiding yesterday! Now have an HM Crota completion for my Triumphs (just 7 Golden Chests and a Skolas kill to go). Gear wise I got Fatebringer (my first elemental primary and one worthy of ascending with a precious Etheric Light), Hezen Vengeance, Atheon's Epilogue, Oversoul Edict and the Crota Warlock Helm. ![thumbup](/inc/images/thumbup.gif)
I think I'll be on from 5ish for just over an hour later. Still have VoG first checkpoint on my Warlock as I ran to completion with the Hunter yesterday.

Don't do it, Moog!
I still adore my Warlock - it may not have the PoE utility of Hunter or Titan in some situations, but it is still my favourite class. One of each class is the way forward!
Which is the reason why I started the warlock, to have one of each class. I dunno, I'm in no rush and it was only when I was clearing out my vault a bit when I knew I had enough high light armour for a 2nd titan that prompted the thought process. I should perhaps devote a little more time to the warlock and see if I "get" itI still adore my Warlock - it may not have the PoE utility of Hunter or Titan in some situations, but it is still my favourite class. As an aside, it felt wrong somehow to dismantle raid gear but I had 2 sets of VoG stuff and I don't use any of it. I've kept one set and a dupe set of CE gear albeit missing the boots and the OCD side of me says I really *need* those extra boots when in reality I don't of course. Weird as I don't consider myself as a "collector" at all
Moog, I would also say don't do it! I know that the recent trend has been for people to create baby Titans but in my case, that was only to have one of each class before the DLC. You never know what is going to be useful/OP in the new raid. Hunters (undeservedly) had a very bad rep in raids before the Dark Below dropped and then people were desperate to have a Hunter on their fireteam.
Invest some time in your warlock. Nova bomb and obsidian mind are great fun. Obviously having Fireborn can save a wipe in many Nightfall and raid situations. Plus, the new arc sub class super does look pretty awesome!!![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Moog, listen to Speck, he speaks sense! Both Obsidian Mind and The Ram are excellent PvE tools for Voidwalkers and Radiant Skin and Ram on a Sunsinger makes them the tankiest class in the game by far.
Sunsingers have the self res clutch as well, and can have two grenades just by choosing the right perk. Voidfang Vestments give you grenadesevery time you spawn in PvP and no other class can offer so much zone control.

After a full run through of the VoG last night with the Titan, all I got was some shards and a dupe speeder, did an Atheon checkpoint with the Hunter straight after and bagged a Vex and Atheons Epilogue which I both needed so very happy, finally I can crack on with the thorn bonty now.
I've given the warlock a reprieve for now because as you rightly point out, it might become the go to character for the next DLC and then I'd really be kicking myself for deleting a perfectly good character. I'll spend some more time on him and unlock all of the subclass abilities ![thumbup](/inc/images/thumbup.gif)
One NFall down and with no burn, it turned out to be a little harder than it should have been. Ended up with 2 or 3 team wipes trying to do it the proper way before cheesing from the ledge. Small glitch saw a wipe because a minotaur took me out with what seemed to be one hit whilst I was in the middle of a Blessing of Light bubble with full health and shield.

I'm not surprised you wiped trying to do it properly, that's just madness!! Airborne basically means if you jump, you will die and Epic means you get more angry, unflinching enemies than usual (with heavier shields where applicable). Why would you jump down from the ledge....just why?!!

First time, I just followed lovechild who went straight over the edge as he didn't have his mic on and wasn't talking and then we weren't in any particular rush so thought we'd try it. It was only after the third(?) wipe we agreed on the ledge strategy in order to "get it done" Why would you jump down from the ledge....just why?!!

It's a good one for titans, pop a bubble with Helm of Saint and basically punch away as the Brawler perk increases your melee damage
