I'm struggling with it as I haven't unlocked enough land to make it pretty yet! quite happy with most of my springfield and krustyland but this is just a mess.

You need to use resources like coffee cups, sofas, ipads, gym mats to unlock characters quests so long as you've already unlocked them and that your real estate value is high enough.
They're listed at the bottom of the job list for the building you're looking at.

Thankfully, jobs seems to be going up in time with the more you expand. Gym mats take 8 minutes.
Already maxed out sofa and coffee cup storage, ipads are close.
Gym mat characters are difficult to come by to start with, only Moe in the beginning.

Definitely an update for spamming on your lunch break or when you get home.

Agree with Butter Face on this one. Much prefer to send people on longer tasks, 8h minimum , 12 or 24 preferred. This is irritating in the extreme but presumably it's for the long haul.

My lad plays this as well. He's on level 21 and although Springfield Heights is there he hasn't had any tasks yet. He's got Burns and Homer free.
Any idea if you have to be on a certain level for it to start
