Quick match. I never use that as it doesn't really seem to pair you up in a reasonable timeframe.

Just played in a squad, getting a few kills now. We were working well... We all scored in the top 4!

Games are up for the Karkand expansion pack - seems I can't purchase it.

I go through the motions with payment details etc and all I get is this when I go to complete.

"Sorry, we don't have any offers for your region available right now. Please select another payment account"

I'm using Mastercard - nothing unusual!

Origin offline, will not update and can only launch campaign, oh cock !

I managed to purchase the thing via the EA site, it was updated on my status but still said I need to buy to play the maps. Then Origin died and it seems all hell has broken loose on the battlelog forums!

The problem is that the authentication server is unavailable. If you were in a game when the problem started then you won't have noticed. The problem manifests when people try to join a server since doing so requires an Origin authentication. Every. Single. Fracking. Time.

Trying to join a server right now will sign you out of Origin and you won't be able to get back in until this is resolved.

Well - it seems that you can still get games.

Origin will go to Offline status but you can then sign into Battlelog and then into games anyway.

There's no in game voice chat unfortunately. I think you can chat with people on your Battlelog list via Battlelog, but I've never bothered, it's easier to use TeamSpeak.

Just played my first few games on Back to Karkand.

Last game was on Wake Island and I have a new favourite way of playing the game.

Squad up with 3 fellow PHers (In this case Foobes, RusselGrant and Danny X360) then get a soflam up (or a CITV station in a tank) one guy dropping ammo crates and the others firing off javelins from cover at targets they cant even see... flares wont help you now, heli buggers
