People still playing? I have nothing better to playing by default really. Grind is ste. Another game mode for above average players playing in squads to rape people. Nothing all for a casual gamer.
I gave up after firestorm dropped and the ToW missions forced you to play it. Couldn't be bothered so didn't log on for a couple of days, and a couple of days has turned into a couple of weeks, and I don't feel the urge to come back anytime soon.Ruskie said:

Still play with my mate on a Thursday night because we've yet to find anything we'd rather play... but yes, Grindr is pony, and like some of the other game modes, I will only play it as long as it required to complete the weeks challenge. To be honest, we find we can usually complete the ToW weekly assignments in our ~3 hour sessions...Heard a rumour that a new map was due out either end-April or in May... fingers crossed...
Yes still playing, grind is like blast on SWBF and good to get the assignments. Will be glad when they have some new maps as I’ve done them to death.
Im an average player on the PC but do like the support and medic classes as well as being in the tanks. Always mystified why people cheat, I see no joy in doing so and at the risk of getting banned.

Definitely playing much less than I used to, slowly coming to terms with the idea of not completing every challenge and taking the path of least resistance (and least Firestorm) on the main mission path. Ultimately I won't use the skins, weird melee weapons etc and they offer no advantage so what's the point?
The addition of, and shifted focus on, Battlefield Coins has hacked me off a bit too and ultimately it's all just a bit dull. There isn't even the challenge of ranking up to go for as that's been locked at 50 forever now.
I only ever play one game at a time and it's predominantly been the Battlefield series up until now but unless they suddenly come out with something like BF4 again I think my allegiance will be shifting or I'll finally have more of a life and stop gaming.
There's hints of greatness in BFV but it feels like some of the teams involved in making it have never spoken to each other.

A good summing up I feel. The addition of, and shifted focus on, Battlefield Coins has hacked me off a bit too and ultimately it's all just a bit dull. There isn't even the challenge of ranking up to go for as that's been locked at 50 forever now.

Unlocked the new gun last night, grind mode is like tdm.. but with objectives
I don't really like tow objectives that make you play specific game modes (I avoid the firestorm ones unless they are really simple) but some of this weeks that require supplying or healing really helps the play (to a point).
Really not liking the boins only stuff, I pre ordered and put up with delays and glitches. I've been on level 50 since forever.
Don't see why that stuff just doesn't have a really high in game price.

My number 1 issue with this game has to be no servers for people playing on their own. Any busy period like tonight is full of squads. I understand that it’s a squad based game but I don’t want to sit on a headset talking, I want to play in a relaxed squad game without getting mulllered!
